Community Sponsorship & Donations

Canon and Sponsorship

Our sponsorship activities are carefully developed to bring our brand values to life and support the objectives of the business.

In 2010, we launched the inaugural Canon EOS Festival of Photography bringing together four prestigious Canon-sponsored exhibitions in Sydney and Brisbane including Head On Photo Festival; Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPAs); World Press Photo (WPP); and the Sydney Morning Herald Photos – 1440: A Day, a Minute, a Moment exhibition.

In New Zealand, Canon has enjoyed a partnership with the Newspaper Publishers’ Association since 2006 and was announced the naming right sponsor of the Canon Media Awards in 2010.
