Monday 11^th October, 2010, Canon held their Corporate Golf Day at The Metropolitan Golf Club, South Oakleigh, Melbourne.

Hosted and MC for the day and evening was Steve Loughran, Assistant General Manager – Field, Canon Consumer Imaging. Canon was also represented on the day from the very top Mr Kenji Kobayashi, Managing Director, and his OMD, both Allan Corder, COO and Brian Farlow, CFO, down to account managers from both the Indirect and Direct sides of the business. It was a fantastic day and a great opportunity for all to meet and take a few pointers from professional golfers David Diaz, Craig Spence, Mark Allen and Leigh Deagan.

Although it was blue skies and sunshine the golfers had their work cut out for them as there was the wind they had to compete with. The day was topped off with a lovely dinner and insight into the lives of a professional golfer. The winning team for the day was Andrew Nichol’s team consisting of Shane Gillon – Harvey Norman, Craig Warren – Deakin University and Mick Shacklock – Barden Steel Deck and Andrew Nichols – Canon.
