Sydney, 18 February 2005 - Canon Australia, leader in photographic and imaging technology, continues to drive innovation with the launch of the PIXMA MP110 and MP130 All-in-One printers. The new affordable units produce great quality prints, photos and scans in one stylish unit.
Featuring Canon's new advanced print-head technology, FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering), that enables photolab quality printing, the PIXMA All-in-One printers combine printer, scanner and copier functionality into a single unit at an affordable price. With clean, compact lines, these integrated units represent a daring departure from the look of traditional print devices.
PIXMA - A revolution in printing
Canon's heritage and expertise in photographic, copier and print-head technology have combined to form a new revolution in photo printing - PIXMA. The new PIXMA range of printers provides exceptional quality, high speed and reliability for home, office and professional printing.
Canon's new PIXMA printers are the first to feature Canon's unique print-head technology, FINE, a new ink ejection system that separates and ejects the prescribed volume of ink droplets precisely and consistently onto the page, resulting in exceptionally clear and detailed images.

The new compact PIXMA All-in-One printers are designed to save time, space and complication. The FINE print-head provides exceptional photo print quality, achieving borderless 4800 x 12001 dpi lab-quality photo prints in up to A4 size. A memory card slot on the MP130 provides direct photo printing from most popular memory card types3, and the 'Tick-a-box' Photo Index Sheets simplify photo and media selection when printing straight from the memory card without the use of a PC.
The incorporated flatbed scanner offers 1200 x 2400 dpi resolution, while 9600 x 9600 dpi is achievable with software enhancement. Multi-photo mode creates individual files from multiple photographs scanned in a single pass, and the advanced Z-lid improves scan and copy quality of thick books and magazines by applying even pressure across the entire document.

Photo stickers (Photo Stickers PS-101) - sheets of 16 small photo stickers, for fun and practical purposes;
Accepts credit card size Glossy Photo Paper (GP-401), great for printing business cards; and
Accepts a variety of paper including Photo Paper Pro, Photo Paper Plus Glossy, Photo Paper Plus Semi-gloss and Matte photo paper.

Easy-PhotoPrint - for easy digital photo printing, retouching portraits and lab quality trimming;
Easy-WebPrint - automatically adjusts the size of web pages for printing to ensure it fits on a sheet perfectly, eliminating waste and frustration4;
ArcSoft PhotoStudio - allows photo editing and enhancing; and
ScanSoft OmniPage SE - a powerful Optical Character Recognition application that scans text for conversion into recognisable text characters/data for editing.
All PIXMA All-in-Ones operate with Windows XP/2000/Me/98 and Mac OS.X or later.
