Antoni Gaudi and Robert Shakespeare collide
Brisbane art and architecture aficionados can get up close and personal with the works of famed Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi this March, captured through the lens of Brisbane Photojournalist Robert Shakespeare.
Dubbed Antoni Gaudi and Robert Shakespeare collide, the photography art exhibition documents six of Gaudi’s most prominent churches and buildings in Barcelona in fly-on-the wall detail.
The culmination of an educational journey into the life and times of one of the world’s most intriguing artisans, the exhibition will showcase more than 80 never before seen limited edition prints of Gaudi’s work and two masterpieces created by Robert, based on Gaudi’s work.
Held at the Circle Gallery in Brisbane's West End, the Antoni Gaudi and Robert Shakespeare collide exhibition will open on the evening of March 5 from 6pm onwards at the Circle Gallery West End and will run until March 17. The gallery is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
