The Canon brand received a Highly Commended award in the Best Tech Manufacturer category at PC Authority's 2007 Reliability and Service Awards.
To be eligible for the award, a company had to compete in at least two other award categories. Canon was nominated in all three of their product areas, winning the major award for inkjet printers and receiving a Highly Commended for digital cameras.
The PC Authority Reliability and Service Awards are presented to products that exemplify the best in their categories according to PC Authority magazine readers. In the biggest tech survey attempted in Australia, approximately 14,000 readers voted in a number of categories including notebooks, printers, digital cameras, wireless routers, MP3 players and software.
