Together with a multifunction unit or scanner
you can simply make enlarged copies in large format !

Working together with a Canon multifunction unit or scanner, your large format printer can produce large-format copies of A4 leaflets in the same manner as an ordinary enlarged copy, simply and easily.

To make an A1 enlarged copy of an A4 original

Pre-printing preparation (necessary only first time)
 
  • Create a Hot Folder* in your PC.

    • Select Printers and Faxes in the Start menu.
    Right-click the printer's icon,select Print Settings, and click the Utility tab.

    Click Color imageRUNNER Enlargement Copy, and create a Hot Folder* following the Help for the Color imageRUNNER Enlargement Copy utility.

  • Follow the Color imageRUNNER manual and register scan settings and destinations as Favorites buttons.

*Hot Folder : Folder for storing original data scanned with Color imageRUNNER. Print requirements such as quality and paper size can be set to a Hot Folder for that folder’s stored data.

  
  • Check that PosterArtist QuickCopy is installed in your PC.

    • If a PosterArtist QuickCopy icon is on your desktop, or if PosterArtist QuickCopy appears in your Start menu’s All programs − Canon PosterArtist, it is installed.
    PosterArtist QuickCopy is installed when PosterArtist is installed. If uninstalled, install PosterArtist QuickCopy.
To print
 
  • Place the original on the Color imageRUNNER platen glass or on the feeder.
  • Press Send.
  • Press Favorites, then the favorite buttons you registered with the above setting.
  • Press the Start button.
  
  • Place the original on the CanoScan.
  • Launch PosterArtist QuickCopy on your PC.
  • Set items such as Media Source and Media Type.
  • To specify a print range, press Preview, and make the specification with the pre-imported image.
  • Press the Copy button.
It is printed in large format
