Canon earns three prestigious EISA awards (Europe)including Best European Professional Lens awarded to EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM. The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) named the EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM the "Best European Professional Lens of the Year 2007-2008". Judges Comments: The Canon EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM zoom goes far beyond the capabilities of other telephoto zoom lenses. It has a weather- and dust-proof construction to complement its excellent optical performance. Thanks to fluorite and SD elements this fast and quiet AF lens delivers outstanding optical performance, while a new 4-stop IS system presents new opportunities for low-light operation. EISA is the largest editorial multimedia organization in Europe, with a membership of 50 audio, mobile electronics, video and photo magazines drawn from 20 European countries. At the end of June each year, all EISA member magazines gather to decide the award winners, selected from among all products introduced during the preceding twelve months. |
