TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Instructions on how to claim and the offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

  1. Claims are only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim.

  1. Promotion commences on 11/01/2010 and ends at close of business on 31/03/2010 (“Promotional Period”).

  1. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase, from any participating store during the Promotional Period, either a

    1. participating Canon PIXMA Printer, model number IP100, IP4700, MP550, MP560, MP640, MP990, MX320, MX330, MX7600, MX860; or
    2. any Canon LASER printer (excluding model number LBP3100B)

To submit a claim, claimants must visit the canon.com.au/printerpromotion website and then follow the prompts to the competition entry page and input the requested details including the serial number from the Participating Product purchased, store of purchase, and a valid email address and submit this during the Promotional Period

  1. After undertaking the process as detailed in condition (4) claimants will be sent an email to the nominated email address confirming receipt of their claim. To claim a Gift or Prize, all entrants must, during the Promotional Period attach a photocopy of their purchase receipt which includes proof of purchase of the Participating Product(s), the original barcode cut out from the Promotional Product’s packaging and a printout of the confirmation page (containing the Claim ID number) then mail it to: “Canon Printers Have you Covered” Offer, PO BOX 706, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW 2004. All claims must be received no later than last mail received on 30/04/2010 and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late or misdirected entries.

  1. Once the posted purchase receipt has been validated the claimants will be notified by email and the Gift or Prize will be mailed to the address provided when submitting their entry. Claimants must allow 28 days for delivery.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  1. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.

  1. Only one (1) claim permitted per person per participating Canon PIXMA printer purchased. Offer is strictly limited to the first 757 claims received for purchases of the Canon LASER Printer. For the sake of clarity, the offer is unlimited to purchases of participating Canon PIXMA printer models.

  1. Final claims close last mail received on 30/04/2010 for purchases of a participating Canon PIXMA Printer. For purchases of a Canon LASER Printer, final claims close last mail received on 30/04/2010 or when 757 claims has been received, whichever is first to occur.

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. All claims for purchases of a Canon PIXMA Printer will receive one (1) Gift as follows:

    1. Claimants who purchase any of the following Canon PIXMA Printer Model numbers: IP100, MP550, MP560, MX320, MX330, MX7600, MX860 will receive a PIXMA 2010 pack valued at $103.20 which includes 1 x pack of T-Shirt transfers, 1 x pack of A4 photo paper, 2 x packs of semi gloss 4X6 photo paper, 1 x pack of matte A4 photo paper.

    1. Claimants who purchase any of the following Canon PIXMA Printer Model numbers: MP640, MP990 and IP4700 will be eligible to receive a PIXMA 2010 pack valued at $96.75 which includes 1 x pack of T-Shirt transfers, 1 x pack of A4 photo paper, 1 x spindle of printable DVD’s (containing 25 DVD’s), 1 x packs of semi gloss 4X6 photo paper, 1 x pack of matte A4 photo paper.

  1. The first 757 claims for purchases of a Canon LASER Printer will receive a 500Gb Iomega Prestige Hard Drive valued at $179 (“Prize”).

  1. If any Gift or Prize (or part of any Gift or Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Gift or Prize (or that part of the Gift or Prize) with a Gift or Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority .

  1. Total potential Prize value is AUD$135,503.00. Total potential Prize and Gift pool in the Australian Capital Territory (including Gifts to be awarded in accordance with clause 12) is up to AUD$168,527.00. Gifts or Prize, or any unused portion of a Gift or Prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

  1. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

  1. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

  1. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in offer value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (e) use of a Gift or Prize.

  1. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
