ZoomBrowser EX Updater v4.02

IMPORTANT NOTES
To update to ZoomBrowser EX 4.02 you must have ZoomBrowser EX 2.x or
3.x installed on your PC.

Before using ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 you need to move your titles and comments
attached to your images from ZoomBrowser 2.x/3.x to ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2. 
Please note you will lose your titles and comments unless you move them.

Use the following procedures if titles and comments were attached to your images
:

1.  In Windows Explorer open the Program folder under the folder in
which you installed ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 (C:\Program Files\Canon\ZoomBrowser
EX\Program).

2. In this folder double-click dbconverter.exe.

3. Select the database you were using until now (C:\Program Files\Database\My
database.zbd) and click the Start button.

Note: Please note that with ZoomBrowser EX 4.0 both titles and comments appear
in the comment list.

If you had saved images with ZoomBrowser EX 2.x/3.x in the Program Files
folder (C:\Program Files\Canon\ZoomBrowser EX\Image Library One) use the
following instructions :

1. In Windows Explorer copy each image folder in the Program Files folder
to a different destination. (Copy the image folders in "C:\Program
Files\Canon\ZoomBrowser EX\Image Library One" to another location like My
Pictures).  After this procedure the images in the folders you copied
to ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 will be displayed.

Note: This procedure must be done after moving your titles and comments from
ZoomBrowser EX 2.x/3.x to ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2.

It is impossible to start RAW Image Converter 1.x from ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2. 
Please start RAW Image Converter from the Start menu when you convert RAW format
images.

ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 does not support the TWAIN interface.  Please use
ZoomBrowser EX when you download images from your camera.

The file types Windows Meta File and FlashPix are not supported.

Zoombrowser Updater v3.2
This file will update the installed version of Zoombrowser to 3.2

The update requires that you have a previous version of Zoombrowser already installed on your PC.

How to check your ZoomBrowser EX version number:

Run ZoomBrowser EX.

The version is displayed on the start-up window of ZoomBrowser EX. (Circled in RED in the image below)

If ZoomBrowser EX is already running, you can also check the version number by clicking on "About ZoomBrowser EX" in the program's Help menu. If your ZoomBrowser EX version number is higher than 3.2.1, it is unnecessary to update it at this time.

Special Note - A new feature known as "Print Index" is available in this version of Zoombrowser. This feature can only be used with the Canon Photorecord program version 1.4 and above. If you are using an earlier version of PhotoRecord, you should not use the "Print Index" feature. To determine the version number of Photorecord, please click Help, About within Photorecord.
