Windows XP (Home or Professional) operating system installed
.NET PASSPORT registration (you may use a current account or create a new one)
Internet connection (broadband such as Cable, DSL, ISDN, or similar is highly recommended)
Global Internet Protocol address
No personal firewall system (If you have one installed, it must be temporarily disabled while using DV Messenger)

Special Notes:

If a router is used to connect to the internet it must be UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) compatible
Videoconference function of Microsoft Windows Messenger must be available

Recommended Specifications:

Windows XP (Home or Professional), Pentium? 800Mhz processor, 256MB RAM, 100MB free hard disk space, 800 x 600 - high (16 bit) colour display, OHCI-compatible IEEE1394 interface, sound function, internet connection
