Economical, continuous ink supply

In addition to the CCS system the BJ-W7000 boasts large ink supply tanks. A unique tubing system connects the print head to an external storage supply holding 374ml of ink - almost nine times the standard supply. Thus, one set of cartridges can last for 100 to 150* full colour A0 prints, considerably reducing running costs. In addition the ink supply can be changed quickly and easily with no mess .

Easy and efficient operation

An easy-to-read display panel offers independent control for all functions.
The BJ-W7000 features an ink-level detector system, which employs an audible alarm and a two-level message display on the LCD to warn when ink levels are low and then again when the ink supply is exhausted. Three different print modes are available - draft, normal and enhanced - to take your work from first proposal to final perfection, without wasting ink.

Cut or roll sheets, at a touch

With convenient one-touch switching, you can change from roll to cut sheets - without having to remove the actual roll sheet. A built-in auto cutter allows continuous roll output, up to 18 meters. As the height of the print head can be adjusted, all types of media and thickness can be accepted - including glossy film, back print film, glossy paper and heavyweight coated paper. This applies to all sizes from A0 down to A4.

Stand-alone for PC or MAC

Use the BJ-W7000 as a stand-alone printer for either a PC (running under Windows?95/98 or Windows? NT) or a Macintosh computer ( via parallel cable and converter), and benefit from full-colour, wide-format printing and plotting with ease.

Canon's optional Fiery imagePASS-W10 controller makes the printer available to multiple users.
