Antarctica - About the Photographer, Peter Walton

After a successful career in advertising photography, Melbourne based Peter Walton refocused onto his true passion in life, landscape and tourism photography and went on to establish the specialist image library AustralianScenics.com. Overseas assignments have so far taken him to USA, Canada, Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Nepal, New Zealand and most recently, Antarctica. When World Expeditions asked him to shoot the frozen landscapes for their Antarctica program, Peter took the opportunity to also shoot a video with his recently acquired 5D Mark II. He says: “This camera is one of the best things that ever happened to my career”.
