    Harbour IT have an opportunity for an Infrastructure Support Technical Team Lead to join the team. The role is responsible for the management of all our infrastructure managed customers. As the Team Leader you will be delivering exceptional customer service along with managing and maintaining our customers environments.


    This is a fast-paced environment, so strong time management, technical ability along with flexibility and agility is a must. As you will be leading up to 15 people, you will have previous experience with coaching, mentoring and performance management. Your strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to ensure clear and accurate communication with staff, customers and specialist vendors

     
    About the Role:
    • Lead the team in provision of quality service while managing customer infrastructures
    • Act as the first escalation point for technical delivery
    • Scheduling and Rostering staff movements for the team
    • Ensure there are adequate coverage for allocation of work and the IMC phone queues
    • Supporting all Harbour IT managed customers’ infrastructure environments.
    • Ensure Unallocated jobs are allocated regularly to appropriately
    • Technically guide and mentor the team members
    • Working closely with Infrastructure Manager to assess performance, training, and recruitment
    • Providing escalated infrastructure support from team members for critical and complex tickets.
    • Perform root cause analysis and fixes to drive down the re-occurrence of similar incidents.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
    • Attend Customer weekly and monthly meetings

    About You:
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience providing engineering support to medium-large sized customers
    • Minimum 1 year’s supervision/team leadership or management experience in an IT environment
    • Must have a valid MCSE or MCSA in Windows Server 2012 or above.
    • Tertiary qualification in IT (CCNA advantageous)
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Working Knowledge of ITIL IT Service Management Framework (certification well regarded)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • To stay up to date with infrastructure technologies and trends within the industry.

    The role:

    Harbour IT are an innovative and agile organisation and due to rapid growth and client wins are now looking for a Senior Infrastructure Projects Engineer based in Melbourne. In the role you will be working alongside our Project Managers team and our clients to educate them on best practice approaches to designing and implementing core infrastructure platforms.

    Pivotal to the role is your experience and understanding of desktop, virtualisation, storage, backup technologies, security and Cloud Technologies.  The role combines advocacy of best practice with hands on design, build and implementation.     Harbour IT work with leading Technology and as part of this role you will cover projects within the following technologies:

    Responsibilities include:
    • Work with project managers to deliver infrastructure projects
    • Own and manage smaller projects as required
    • Provide effective project stakeholder management
    • Operate within our PMO
    • Adhere to our internal processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards
    • Create technical documentation and transition projects to our support teams
    • Assist our internal teams with 3rd level technical support when required
    • Provide technical advisory to customers and our sales staff
    • Assist with presales and technical architecture
    • Stay current with industry skills and certifications
    • Own and manage smaller projects as required
    • Train and upskill BAU support team once implementation is completed
    • Provide effective project stakeholder management
    Skills Required:
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure support
    • Minimum 3 years focused on Implementation Projects for Core infrastructure
    • Experience delivering end to end solutions
    • Evidence of working closely with customers, vendors and internals teams
    • Strong skills with documentation of solution and the steps taken to complete
    • IT Qualifications / degree or equivalent experience
    • Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco a must (Citrix certs desirable)
    • Excellent communication skills verbally and written

You will be join 8 other team members located in our Macquarie Park office. In the role you will be providing 1st and 2nd level support to our Corporate Clients, troubleshooting desktop related issues by over the phone as well as remote access support when required. At times, and when required you may also be asked to provide on-site support to our clients.

    About you:
    You will have experience in the IT Customer support industry and a passion for customer service. You will know your way around computers, desktop environments and have talent for troubleshooting. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills along with commitment to deliver on targets will be key in your success.  This is an exciting role!     Main Duties Include
    • Providing 1st/2nd Level and Onsite support to Corporate clients

    • Logging all calls and jobs via an ITSM ticketing system.

    We are Looking For
    • Preferably a Degree in IT or Computer Science with a strong practical element
    • IT Customer Service support role experience (Windows environments)
    • ITIL knowledge and experience
    • Experience with Microsoft standard operating systems and Microsoft Office suites (Windows 10, MS Office 365 etc)
    • Experience with MDM technologies such as AirWatch
    • Experience with Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions (Symantec, McAfee, Sophos)
    • Strong verbal communication skills in listening and articulating technical issues into simple terms 
    • A strong Customer Service focus and a willingness to learn and work within a team

    In the role you will be delivering exceptional customer service while managing and maintaining our customer environments and providing support and mentoring to Infrastructure Support Technicians within the Infrastructure Support team.


    Key Responsibilities include:
    • Perform onsite maintenance, advance troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of Citrix issues as and when required
    • Provide 3rd level technical Citrix infrastructure support
    • Proactively manage the Citrix infrastructure for HIT customer environments.
    • Identify risks as part of on-boarding activities around Citrix technical solutions and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements to customers.

    • Communicate effectively with the service delivery function and senior management.
    • Leverage tool-sets to create and maintain regular reporting on Citrix environments, including incident management, service requests, performance metrics, and capacity planning.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for HIT customer environments

    You will have:
    • Experience in an IT Infrastructure Support role, preferably including experience in a Managed Services Environment,
    • 1-2 years’ experience specializing in Citrix products like XenApp, Xendesktop, Provisioning Services, Machine Creation Services, Storefront and Netscaler gateway technologies.
    • Must have exposure on Citrix Cloud and multi-cloud platforms of Citrix in Azure.
    • Preferred- Citrix Certified Associates – Virtualization (CCA-V)
    • Tertiary qualifications and/or IT Industry Certifications in a Network specific technology
    • Formal training and certification in industry technologies

    • Solid foundational understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks

    About You:

    • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments

    The Role:
    Harbour IT is one of Australia’s leading Managed Services Providers and due to continued growth, we now have an opportunity a Transformation Manager to join our Team. This role is for a 12-month fixed term contract with potential extensions.  As the Transformation Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of a series initiatives in the Harbour IT Managed Services function. 
    You will be responsible for working alongside the Senior Leadership Team to assist in the development, deployment and execution of projects that will result in significant improvements. It will also have a focus on improving internal processes and systems. 

    About You:
    You will have strong track record in the delivery of IT Programs preferably in a Managed Services environment but potentially in an internal IT Operations team.  You will be able to demonstrate leadership and strategic management skills and be able to share a clear vision and actions on our services.  You will be a systems-oriented individual and you will be able to demonstrate a track record of engaging others in the adoption of the systems and processes you have implemented.

    Responsibilities Include:
     
    • Planning and designing the overall program and proactively driving its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action
    • Facilitating clear and specific definition of program deliverable's to ensure the program produces a result
    • Monitoring and controlling program execution to ensure program delivery is managed within agreed cost, time and quality constraints
    • Supporting operational managers with project management methodology and delivery support to ensure structured delivery of program outcomes
    • Managing program resources and resource allocation to program tasks
    • Managing program level planning, scheduling and inter-dependencies
    • Monitoring and controlling program risks, issues and change control, escalating issues where necessary to remove roadblocks and ensure smooth program execution
    • Working with operational managers and team leaders to identify, develop and deliver on specific program communications requirements
    • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately


    Skills Required:
    • Professional qualification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Cert 4, PMBOK, PRINCE2)
    • Relevant Management/technical training
    • Extensive experience in managing teams of process and/or technical specialists
    • Experience in leading large, multi-stream transformational projects
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands.
    • Accuracy, attention to detail, and highly organised.
    • Ability to prioritise and use initiative.
    • Results driven.

This role is to ensure the Harbour IT Professional Services team is adequately staffed to meet the demand generated by our customers. As our Resource Manager you will responsible of Architects and Engineers.  You will work closely with the Project Managers to assign technical resources to projects based on the required skillset and effort required, as estimated by pre-sales Architects.  Your success will depend on your ability to match the right technical team members to the projects.

    • Recruiting, selecting and training Engineers and Architects deployed on projects (both permanent and contractor).
    • Work with the Service Delivery Managers and Account Managers to understand the specific needs of customers and their projects when allocating resources.
    • Accountable with the PMO for ensuring quality and profitability of projects.
    • Actively contribute to the strategy and direction of both the IT Delivery & Professional Services Team and Harbour IT.
    • Instil a “can-do” customer service culture.
    • Ensure a cohesive working group.

    Key Skills:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a transforming  business, delivering services and solutions to large Enterprise clients. This role will see you generating new revenue streams and attracting new customers through Canon’s core business and solutions streams across a diverse product range (hardware, services, software etc.)

    To be considered for the role you will require:
     
    • 3+ years’ direct sales experience
    • Ideally a background in technology solutions to large Enterprise clients
    • Proficient in account planning pipeline development and creating new revenue generating opportunities
    • Demonstrated success in building strategic customer relationships, ideally at C level, in new business accounts
    • Align and leverage internal resources to build, develop, and close strategic account wins
