    The role:
    Harbour IT are an innovative, agile organisation and due to rapid growth are now looking for a Projects Engineer based in Melbourne. In the role you will be working with a number of local and national clients ranging in industries.

    Pivotal to the role is your experience and understanding of cloud services (Azure), Microsoft technologies and server infrastructure. The role combines advocacy of best practice with consultation, hands on design, build and implementation.

    This role will see you work across the following projects; Public Cloud Services – Azure, Azure Identity & Access Management, Azure Security & Compliance, Office 365 & Exchange, Microsoft Modern Workplace, Windows Server, Windows Desktop and Remote Desktop & WVD.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Work with a dedicated team of project managers and architects to deliver infrastructure projects
    • Technical solution design and detailed designs for customer projects
    • Interface with the account teams, the customer and the service delivery managers to ensure expectations and requirements are met
    • Accountability of technical solutions in relation to quality, timeliness and compliance
    • Ensure smooth delivery of technical services and projects
    • As a contact for customers, representing the company with excellent technical skills
    • Assistance in adhering to project management methodologies during a project life cycle
    • Provide effective project stakeholder management
    • Operate within our PMO and delivery framework model
    • Providing onsite and remote technical support to customers when required
    • Troubleshooting various IT related problems
    • Provide technical advisory to customers and our sales staff
    • Installing new equipment at customer sites where required
    • Ensuring all services meet agreed client service level requirements and requirements
    • Escalate cases to higher level support and service delivery managers/service organizers as required
    • Create technical documentation and transition projects to our support teams
    • Maintain security and integrity of customer infrastructure
    • Undertake and maintain professional training and development

    About You
    We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years supporting Infrastructure (workstations, servers, networks, etc) and been involved with project implementations over the past 3 years, this could include migrations, upgrades and /or infrastructure changes.

    We want to see good skills across Microsoft Azure products, including IAAS and PAAS, of MS Server Operating Systems and roles/features (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO etc.), Microsoft Exchange platforms (2010, 2013, 2016) as well as knowledge of Networking, Wireless, WAN, switches, routers and VPN's and security products and solutions (Firewalls, VPN, perimeter security devices, AV)

    As you will be delivering full end to end solutions you must be across project management tools and procedures, have evidence of working closely with customers, vendors and internals teams, strong design and solution architecture skills as well as strong technical documentation skills

    Knowledge of automation and scripting tools, such as PowerShell and Azure CLI would be ideal. At this level we would except you to hold some industry accreditation's such as MCP, CCNA, CCA, MCSA or equivalent.

    While not essential experience with Azure Virtual desktop, Citrix XenApp & Netscaler and / or security-based certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CISM) would be highly regarded

    The role

    The Azure Infrastructure SME will be part of the Azure Cloud Centre of Excellence. The SME will be responsible for supporting our customers with Azure on perm stack built on HP integrated hardware as well as the Azure Public service offering. 

    This role will be a critical role within our wider cloud and network team, as they will help develop the product and feature set that drives the products delivered by Harbour IT as part of the Azure infrastructure service offering. The SME will also be required to write and maintain as built (HLD) and LLD (low level design) documents. The SME will also be a consultant to the technical sales team in designing and delivering customer service solution across the wider infrastructure practise to provide IAAS.

    The SME will have hands on experience in managing enterprise level infrastructure as they will also be a Tier 3 escalation for the support teams. The ideal candidate will have solid understand of security and governance requirements around running infrastructure in the Cloud, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.


    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the Cloud & Digital strategy in its architecture and design to support the future business direction, capability and adaptation of the cloud throughout the organisation.
    • Provide expertise regarding Cloud Implementation for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure services.
    • Provide expertise to the technical Sales engineers on best practice cloud architecture to design IAAS services for the customers, especially around azure cloud offerings.
    • Drive CI/CD architecture principals around the cloud services delivery and operations including automation to provide a seamless service across the Azure service offerings.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts for build, test, deployment of the applications and the setup of their computing platforms
    • Driving continues improvement and lifecycle management across the azure service offering to drive delivery and operational maturity including driving self-healing target state.
    • Implementing Monitor and report tools to help manage spending and cost for the infrastructure and services provided by harbour IT to customers.
    • Managing day to day operational escalations and vendor management for infrastructure incidents.
    • Excellent working understanding of ITIL process to manage incident, change and Problem management.


    About You

    We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years in enterprise infrastructure engineering with a minimum of 2 years of MS Azure infrastructure service implementation.  

    We want to see experience in setting up cloud enterprise infrastructure service platform is desirable, or at least working in enterprise environment to manage cloud as an infrastructure service is required. weant to see experience in setting up applications in cloud and understanding  network and security requirements to design services according to requirements.

    A strong understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure and stack of services for IT service delivery and infrastructure (VM, SQL, VNET, User defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure AD) is essentia

    Extensive knowledge about API designs and use to integrate services as well as a working  understanding with CI/CD tools such as VSTS or equivalent 

    Experience in setting up cloud enterprise infrastructure service platform is desirable, or at least working in enterprise environment to manage cloud as an infrastructure service is required.

    About the Role
    Due to an internal promotion within the team we are looking to engage with an additional End User Service Desk/Onsite Engineer to be based out of our Macquarie park office in a full time permanent position.

    In the role you will be providing 1st and 2nd level support to our Clients, this will include troubleshooting desktop related issues over the phone and via remote access. You will be raising tickets, liaising with customers and working through the issues to resolve and close out within customers SLAs.

    While this role will primarily be based at our central office, there will be times where we require the individual to base themselves on a customer site as and when required so we are looking for flexibility of the location of the work.


    Responsibilities
    • Providing 1st/2nd Level phone support
    • Troubleshooting user desktop related problems using the phone, remote access and onsite visits as necessary
    • Escalating problems to Third Level support or IT vendor partners as necessary
    • Logging all calls and jobs via an ITSM ticketing system.
    • Providing a high level of Customer Service and communication, meeting and exceeding client expectations
    • Providing after-hours support as needed (shared roster means approximately one week on-call every 4-6 weeks)

    About you
    You will have experience in the IT Customer support industry and a passion for customer service. You will know your way around computers, desktop environments and have talent for troubleshooting. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills along with commitment to deliver on targets will be key in your success.

    We want to see experience with Windows environments and Microsoft standard operating systems and Microsoft Office suites (Windows 10, MS Office 365 etc). good skills with Active Directory (ADDS, DNS, DHCP) as well as Hardware break fix, warranty /maintenance and printer configuration.

    Experience with MDM technologies such as AirWatch and Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions (Symantec, McAfee, Sophos). We also want to see evidence of working with Kaseya, SCCM and/or Intune.

    Asset and inventory management would be an advantage, with ITIL experience and a driver’s license highly regarded.

    About the Role
    With continued growth across Harbour ITs Cloud Infrastructure services we have a great opportunity for a Cloud Infrastructure SME to help drive true hybrid Cloud strategy

    You will be responsible for driving maturity and transformation across the cloud (Harbours Private cloud) and the public cloud infrastructure service offering. There will be some work required initially to standardise and drive operational maturity across this environment and then drive self-service and automation through virtualisation

    This position will require a self-starter who has solid experience in maintaining and managing a complex enterprise environment. This is a rare opportunity for a driven individual to take on the challenge and really set the pace to help drive the strategy for the infrastructure platforms in their remit.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Technical ownership of Storage compute & Backup platform (Netapp, Pure storage, Rubrik, Cisco, Vmware, veem, backup and Azure infrastructure services)
    • Design, maintain and build the Management systems for across the infrastructure stack
    • Level 3 Escalation point for both project and operational issues and product related issues
    • Lead to manage infrastructure incident and the critical operational issues 24X7 as required.
    • Set up and Manage Capacity Planning and Release Management of the Compute, Storage and Backup platforms – drive and execute necessary Software and Firmware upgrades within Change control process.
    • Proactive management and maintenance of the environments including working with the vendors to manage EOL and SOL, with Lifecycle plan for the environment at least 1 calendar year ahead,
    • Provide operational and strategic direction for the Cloud Virtualisation & Storage environment
    • Manage Incidents and request to SLA and without compromising quality of delivery.
    • Delivering projects both in and out of hours that relate to Compute, Storage and Backup where Infrastructure delivery requirements are identified.
    • Vendors Liaison – Manage technical escalation, project delivery, Interoperability, bug scrub and technical roadmap with vendors for the platforms
    • Drive innovation and look at opportunities to drive self-service and automation for internal provisioning and customer self-service
    • Drive adoption of storage and backup Management Systems and lead Standardization of technology and technical processes
    • Meet and Exceed Infrastructure uptime availability.
    • Be a technical advisor to Delivery and /Pre-sales for new business opportunities as required.

    About You:
    We are looking for someone with at least 8 years’ experience in Storage & Backup design, delivery and management with at least 2 years focused public and private cloud. We need solid experience in complex compute, Storage & Backup management.

    You need to have knowledge of Business continuity / Disaster recovery services across private and public cloud environments and managing complex virtual environments with mission critical applications.

    We want to see evidence of working in enterprise environment to manage cloud as an infrastructure service and if this includes setting up cloud enterprise infrastructure service platform it would be an advantage.

    Someone that has scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and / or ITIL certified would be highly regarded.

     we are looking for someone that has sold outsourced Business Solutions in pre-sales or Consulting capacity, for a minimum of 5 years, ideally with 2 years or more in Digital transformation

     Strong knowledge and experience in Content Management, workflow and ERP systems as well as experience in Robotics, AI and /or Cognitive learning solutions is a must.

    with the need for this role to be Consultative we want to see evidence of research processes with the ability to assess options and solutions in a fresh and creative way. This will include gathering customer requirements and translating these into the robust solutions

    You must have sound knowledge and experience in design, agile management and innovation methodologies, including the scoping of work, design research, ideation and prototyping, user testing, and evaluation

    Practical experience with the sales bid process and responding to RFI’s & RFP’s and ability to build commercial models for large and complex deals will be required

    Highly regarded would be knowledge of specific client processes in our target markets of Banking, Insurance, Government and Finance

    About the Role
    Off the back of a highly successful 2019, for our sales team, Harbour IT has now sold significant Infrastructure solutions to several new and engaged customers. As we work with these customers in 2020 we need to invest in a dedicated Account Manager who can provide ongoing guidance and support on existing and future services.

    You will work closely with these existing clients to determine their present and future needs and identify suitable services within Networking, Cloud, Security, Software and Hardware in order to maintain and grow revenue for Harbour IT.

    You will ensure revenue, gross margin, client and employee satisfaction targets are achieved through tactical and day-to-day financial, operational, contractual and relationship management.


    Responsibilities will include
    • Identify, establish and manage relationships within client, partner, and HIT to ensure a long-term business partnership
    • Act as customer advocate to enable clients to achieve corporate objectives and gain competitive advantage.
    • Support Service Delivery Managers to ensure optimal level of service is provided and continually seeking process improvement and cost reduction opportunities
    • Proactive input into the development and implementation of project delivery (including handover to business as usual)
    • Present quarterly to the Head of Account Management and General Manager of Sales on quarterly performance and future actions.
    • Timely and accurate submission of pipeline and client performance reports including variance reporting as and when required
    • Ensure Steering Committee, and all other contractual reporting obligations are met and exceeded.
    • Conduct presentations and coordinate the preparation of reports, proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and account management plans;
    • Proactive input into contract negotiations and bids.
    • Ensure revenue, expense and gross margin targets are met and exceeded;

    • Undertake forecasting and budgeting within the defined number of accounts.

    Previous experience within an Account Manager / Business Development capacity within IT Managed services. The ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies.

    You will have exceptional experience in identifying new business opportunities presenting to clients to identify their needs resulting in the delivery of exceptional service solution's. Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders.

    You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport and a tenacious attitude toward towards progressing business.

    Due to stellar growth and performance in 2019, we are currently seeking a highly proactive and flexible PRINT SALES AGENT to set up and run a Canon Business Agency alongside our Business Information Solutions (BIS) sales teams. The successful candidate's company will be responsible for selling the commercial range of multi-function printers and integrated software solutions. Please note this is not an employee position.



    Please NOTE this is a COMMISSION ONLY business opportunity

    The primary objectives of the role are to:
    • Achieve set sales budgets for Canon Hardware & Software Solutions
    • Develop and deliver on business plans (agreed and committed to by both Canon and our Canon Business Agents)
    • Employ at least 1 Sub Agent to enhance business opportunities
    • Provide exceptional customer service in line with customer expectations
    • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and ensure this is reflected in your Sub Agents
    • Constantly maintain and build Canon's online CRM to demonstrate a clear understanding of market opportunity and ensure the best possible outcomes for new line launches/promotional programs
    • Fully utilise channel marketing and category management resources to improve execution and business development potential
    To be successful in this role, you will have previous PRINT industry experience in commercial sales. You will have superior presentation, communication and interpersonal skills along with proven influencing and negotiation skills. The ability to formulate, articulate and implement strategic plans will be key to success in this role. You must also be able to adapt to new technology and workflow solutions. A proven history of running a sales team is preferred.
