    We’re looking for an experienced New Business Manager, NSW to join Canon Finance Australia (CFA). Your role will be to oversee all operations for state with respect to CFA Direct management of CFA sales functions.
     
    Role and responsibilities:
    • Grow Business for CFA and CA (Canon Australia)
    • Selling Canon Finance and Relationship Management of CA/CFA Customers including Direct Channels, Indirect Channels, and End Users.
    • Develop and grow CFA as strong marketing tool
    • Continually contribute to develop CFA as strong marketing tool
    • Assist in the development of CFA products to ensure leading the market
    • Ensure new business is of a high quality from risk perspective
    • Continually source 3rd Party Finance Introducers to achieve volume targets 
    • Maintain relationships with all Introducers and grow share of business from them
    Your background and qualifications:
    • 5+ years’ experience in selling finance 
    • Tertiary qualifications in finance or a business-related competency
    • Strong Commercial Acumen experience
    • Background in business knowledge and analysis
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Exceptional communication skills are essential

    Role and responsibilities:
     
    • Responsible for training on risk management
    • Prepare reports on losses and insights gained and make recommendations to Risk Policy
    • Provide industry knowledge
    • Approve finance applications
    • Prepare finance applications for submission to Management
    • Supervise Credit Officers
    • Recovery and resale of equipment

    Your background and qualifications:

    • Experience in Legal processes in relation to Business finance law and compliance related issues
    • General understanding of Personal Properties Securities Act and the Register (PPSR)
    • Exceptional communication skills are essential

    We need an experienced QSE Specialist to join our Group QSE team. You will work directly with the Sustainability Manager and HR Business Partner to ensure that Converga has lean, effective systems in place to manage its Quality, Safety and Environmental risks and opportunities. You are responsible for maintaining EMS/QMS systems and developing and implementing an effective work health and safety management system covering all Converga sites and operations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • To maintain existing Quality and Environmental Certification 
    • Improve and extend the existing systems as required by the business
    • To work with Canon to implement an effective, tailored, company- wide WHS management system complying with National benchmark AS/NZS 4801 and to achieve certification
    • To manage compliance with external codes including UN Global compact and Sustainability Advantage Gold Partnership 
    • Plan and implement internal management system audit program 
    • Assist in addressing identified actions resultant from audits at sites as required

    To be successful in your application, you should have:

    • Qualifications in Engineering,  Safety, Science or equivalent 
    • Management System Auditor qualifications preferred
    • Strongly developed and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to engage with and deal with high level management and external stakeholders
