    About the Role:
    As a commercial analyst for Harbour IT, using a ‘whole of life’ market focus and by interacting throughout the business you will plan, propose and deliver active commercial analytics to Canon Business Services (CBS) to assist with achieving sustainable growth in line with the overall business strategy.


    Responsibilities include:
    • Prepare, analyse and provide month-end commentary to executive management
    • Actively participate in key CBS growth initiatives and projects
    • Provide support in chasing overdue invoices and escalating to various managers if required
    • Assist sales team where required in providing commercials on new deals
    • Assist in providing detailed cost centre reports to external customers relating to their monthly charges
    • Analyse transactions and prepare correction entries to ensure accurate reporting
    • Prepare quarterly / yearly operating budgets, ensuring all deadlines are met

    About You:
    Ideally, you will be in a similar position with exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management. You will be finishing your CA or CPA, alternatively have at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment. Canon and Harbour IT are agile, flexible, hands-on environments where everyone is involved in the day to day operations of the business.


    Must have skills for this role: 
    • Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and financial and corporate reporting requirements.
    • Knowledge of ERP financial modules, preferably TMI & Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • Proficient in Excel & Power BI
    • Degree qualified in a business discipline, preferably Finance

    As a Project Engineer, you will be working towards the successful delivery of high-level projects in accordance with delivery frameworks and processes. Within this role, you will be working directly onsite with one of our Sydney based clients to deliver project outcomes in a timely and effective manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with established frameworks, processes, templates and tools to ensure appropriate governance, oversight and responsible management of projects and resources
    • Creating and maintaining appropriate technical documentation
    • Establish milestones and manage adherence to project plans and schedule
    • Provide effective stakeholder management
    • Be the customer contact for project activities

    About You:
    Ideally, you will come from a similar position where you can demonstrate your high level of technical skills and the ability to implement and complete a range of client projects. Having worked in a small to medium MSP, with an interest to learn and work with new and upcoming technologies will be held in high regard.

    Must have:
    • Advanced skillset of windows, such as Active Directory, GPO, DHCP and DNS;
    • Working knowledge of Azure IaaS and a good understanding of Azure PaaS;

    Nice to have:
    • 3+ years’ experience delivering IT infrastructure projects across mid-market and enterprise environments
    • Advanced skillset of vSphere 7.0, to be able to deploy and configure the system, following the design and applying the best practise;

    About the Role

    Harbour IT has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our BAU support team in Macquarie park This will be a full-time permanent position focused on Level 3 support.

    The primary role of the Infrastructure Support Engineer is to deliver exceptional customer service while managing and maintaining our customer environments and providing support and mentoring to Infrastructure Support Technicians within the Infrastructure Support team. The support provided must always be achieved within contracted SLAs and meeting our customers' expectations.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Supporting all Harbour IT managed customers’ infrastructure environments.
    • Providing escalated infrastructure support from team members.
    • Providing escalated service desk support from service desk teams (escalated end user support).
    • Adhere to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes as per HIT/customer standards (ITIL) and within SLAs.
    • Fulfilment of Service Requests.
    • Perform proper root cause analysis and fixes to drive down the re-occurrence of similar incidents.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for HIT customer environments.
    • Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
    • Attend Customer weekly and monthly meetings

    About You:
    You must have the following qualifications and experience;
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an infrastructure support role.
    • Valid MCSE or MCSA in Windows Server 2016 or above.
    • One other valid industry recognized certification.
    • Tertiary qualification in IT or Business.

    In addition, you will have previous skills and experience working with:
    • Microsoft Server 2012 or above
    • Microsoft Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Site & Services, Group Policy)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above
    • VMware vSphere 6.0 or above
    • Linux RHEL 7.x or above
    • Network fundamentals

    As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of high-level projects in accordance with delivery frameworks and processes. Within this role the you will be accountable for project outcomes to clients and other business stakeholders. The role is highly autonomous, and a proven track record of excellent customer interactions is a must.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure that projects are managed in accordance with established frameworks, processes, templates and tools to ensure appropriate governance, oversight and responsible management of projects and resources.
    • Establish milestones and manage adherence to project plans and schedules

    Key Attributes:
    • 5+ years’ experience as Project Manager delivering complex IT infrastructure projects across mid-market and enterprise environments
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner accreditation and working knowledge of PRINCE2 methodology
    • Ability to quickly build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels
    • Exceptional customer service and customer relation skills

    Due to continued growth and success we are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne sales team.  The role will be a hybrid function across Business Development and Account Management and co-funded by our vendor partner Netapp.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Prospecting and winning new and strategic Netapp business opportunities from within Harbour IT's 'ideal' customer segment
    • Achieving your Gross Profit sales target and agreed KPIs
    • Leverage existing industry contacts in order to acquire new Netapp customers
    • Manage your sales pipeline to quickly nurture prospects into new customers
    • Enhance ongoing communication to maintain high customer engagement and satisfaction levels
    • Proactively identify and address support or deliver issues in a timely manner
    • Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of sales plans
    • Provide, or facilitate training opportunities for your accounts.
       
    About You:
    The successful candidate will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities focusing primarily on Netapp solutions and services whilst also managing a small amount of Harbour IT existing customers. This is a field-based role and you will be supported by an experienced team including, cross functional support and lead generation.

    Key Attributes:
    • 8 to 15 years of overall experience is preferred with at least 5 years of experience in an IT enterprise space with strong understanding of its’ sales cycle and know-hows in managing this segment of the business
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills especially at ‘C’ Level
    • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
    • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
    • Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions
    • Conversant in the space of Datacenter and Infrastructures coupled with either Cloud, DevOps or Software knowledge and experience

The position will require someone with proven technical experience managing, maintaining, enhancing and growing enterprise level network environments, utilising market leading products and technologies. This is a rare opportunity for a network expert to join a growing team, providing exposure to a portfolio of great technology and offering the chance to be part of the execution of upcoming infrastructure and network project initiatives, platform enhancements and growth.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate as a subject matter expert (SME) for key datacentre network services including routing, switching, network virtualisation and security.
    • Design, build and deliver critical network projects (upgrades, enhancements and new projects)
    • Perform capacity planning and release management of infrastructure network services.
    • Provide proactive management, maintenance and operational support of key network infrastructure components and services such as operational activities (BAU), upgrades and lifecycle management.

    As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will be a critical member of a high performing Cloud Infrastructure team that manages and operates the Private and Public Cloud practice for a market leading Cloud and Managed Services provider. Reporting directly to the Head of Cloud Services, this role is integral to the success of the well-established and growing Cloud practice, ensuring our portfolio of technology services are delivered and maintained to a high standard.


    Key Attributes:
    • 8+ years’ experience in the Information Technology industry
    • Proven experience in a datacentre network infrastructure support and/or project delivery role
    • Demonstrated experience in supporting, maintaining, designing and implementing datacentre network infrastructure solutions and technologies
    • Experience across broad range of vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet and VMware.
    • Active industry related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP)
