    About the Role
    Harbour IT has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our BAU support team in Melbourne This will be a full-time permanent position focused on Level 3 support.

    Main Duties
    The primary role of the Infrastructure Support Engineer is to deliver exceptional customer service while managing and maintaining our customer environments and providing support and mentoring to Infrastructure Support Technicians within the Infrastructure Support team. The support provided must always be achieved within contracted SLAs and meeting our customers’ expectations.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Supporting all Harbour IT managed customers’ infrastructure environments and providing escalated support from team members and service desk teams;
    • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base for Harbour IT customer environments
    • Performing onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required;
    • Completing monthly patching for customers with onshore requirements;
    • Be part of a rotating weekly roster for on call responsibilities including working with a rotating roster in a shift between the hours of 7am and 6pm week days.
    About You:
    • Strong previous experience working with server infrastructure, preferably in a managed services support-focused environment
    • Strong Windows Server, Active Directory services experience in a Level 3 capacity (highest escalation point)
    • Ability in configuring / implementing Microsoft Active Directory (Windows 2008/2012 server)
    In addition, you will have previous skills and experience working with:
    • Microsoft Server, AD and Domain Services, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP. (version 2012 or above)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013 or above (incl. Office 365)
    • MS Server Operating Systems & design (Windows 2012/2016)
    • Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.x + versions, PVS, MCS, NetScaler
    • VMWare Vsphere 6.x, server and desktop virtualisation and server consolidation technologies.
    • Cloud IaaS technologies (incl. MS Azure Infrastructure)
    • Storage systems technologies (incl. NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage)
    • Network and Windows Security
    You will also have strong customer service skills, high level of analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability and experience to prioritise tasks and workload.  Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment with a shared workload.

    About the Role

    Harbour IT is one of Australia’s leading Managed Services Providers and we are looking for a Service Desk/Support Engineer. In the role you will be providing 1st and 2nd End user support to our Clients, this will include troubleshooting desktop related issues over the phone and via remote access.     Main Duties Include
    • Providing 1st/2nd Level phone support
    • Troubleshooting user desktop related problems using the phone, remote access and onsite visits as necessary
    • Escalating problems to Third Level support or IT vendor partners as necessary
    • Logging all calls and jobs via an ITSM ticketing system.
    • Providing a high level of Customer Service and communication, meeting and exceeding client expectations
    • Providing after-hours support as needed (shared roster means approximately one week on-call every 4-6 weeks)
    We are Looking For
    • Preferably a Degree in IT or Computer Science with a strong practical element
    • IT Customer Service support role experience (Windows environments)
    • ITIL knowledge and experience
    • Experience with Microsoft standard operating systems and Microsoft Office suites (Windows 10, MS Office 365 etc)
    • Experience with MDM technologies such as AirWatch
    • Experience with Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions (Symantec, McAfee, Sophos)
    • Strong verbal communication skills in listening and articulating technical issues into simple terms 
    • A strong Customer Service focus and a willingness to learn and work within a team

    The Azure Infrastructure SME will be part of the Azure Cloud practice that is being setup within the current Cloud and Network services team. The SME will be responsible for helping in setting up and then maturing the Azure cloud practise which will comprise of an Azure on perm stack built on HP integrated hardware as well as the Azure Public service offering. This role will be a critical role within wider cloud and network team, as they will help develop the product and feature set that drives the products delivered by Harbour IT as part of the Azure infrastructure service offering.

    The SME will also be required to write and maintain as built (HLD) and LLD (low level design) documents. The SME will also be a consultant to the technical sales team in designing and delivering customer service solution across the wider infrastructure practise to provide IAAS.


    The SME will have hands on experience in managing enterprise level infrastructure as they will also be a Tier 3 escalation for the support teams. The ideal candidate will have solid understand of security and governance requirements around running infrastructure in the Cloud, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.


    About the role:
     
    • Contribute to the Cloud & Digital strategy in its architecture and design to support the future business direction, capability and adaptation of the cloud throughout the organisation.
    • Provide expertise regarding Cloud Implementation for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure services.
    • Provide expertise to the technical Sales engineers on best practice cloud architecture to design IAAS services for the customers, especially around azure cloud offerings.
    • Drive CI/CD architecture principals around the cloud services delivery and operations including automation to provide a seamless service across the Azure service offerings.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts for build, test, deployment of the applications and the setup of their computing platforms
    • Driving continues improvement and lifecycle management across the azure service offering to drive delivery and operational maturity including driving self-healing target state.
    • Implementing Monitor and report tools to help manage spending and cost for the infrastructure and services provided by harbour IT to customers.
    • Managing day to day operational escalations and vendor management for infrastructure incidents.
    • Excellent working understanding of ITIL process to manage incident, change and Problem management.
     
    About You:
     
    • Minimum 5 years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience with a minimum of 2 years of MS Azure infrastructure service implementation experience.
    • Experience working in a fast paced dynamic enterprise environment working at multiple levels.
    • Experience in setting up cloud enterprise infrastructure service platform is desirable, or at least working in enterprise environment to manage cloud as an infrastructure service is required.
    • Experience in setting up applications in the cloud and understanding the network and security requirements to design the services according to the requirements is mandatory.
    • Strong understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure and stack of services for IT service delivery and infrastructure (VM, SQL, VNET, User defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure AD)
    • Extensive knowledge about API designs and use to integrate services and scripting knowledge is mandatory.
    • A working understanding with CI/CD tools such as VSTS or equivalent
    • Strong understanding of cloud migration techniques (on premise to Cloud Platforms)

    • Management of the Infrastructure monitoring software SCOM, Traverse, VSA and other tools supported for all Customers

    • At least 12 months configuring and maintaining any monitoring applications internally or for external customer
    • Scripting skills in VB, PowerShell, Perl or Javascript
    • Reporting skills using SQL server reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI report server or any others.
    • Desirable: Experience with SCOM, Kaseya, VSA, Splunk and/or Traverse

    The role:
    Canon now has an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Business Services team of 15.  Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will see you involved in preparation of financial statements, driving finance team process improvements, and supporting internal and external audits. The position will work closely with our offshore team, as well as senior leadership, and other key stakeholders.


    About you:
    You will have strong technical skills and the business know-how to provide insight on financial results and be comfortable sharing information with key stakeholders. You will take a hands-on approach to the continuous improvement of our accounting and reporting process to support best practice and business growth. You will be proactive and forward thinking, someone who can take initiative and has the confidence to challenge the status quo.


    Responsibilities include:
    • Preparation of month end accounts, monthly management reporting, P&L analysis and providing commentary on movements as required
    • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review
    • Review fixed assets registers to ensure they are reconciled and properly maintained.
    • Be vigilant to expenditure and draw attention to any questionable or inappropriate transactions.
    • Reporting requirements to Canon Inc
    • Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports and statement disclosures.
    • Work closely with Finance Manager to pro-actively communicate any issues
    • Assist in the development and implementation of robust financial controls and policies
    • Coordination with Finance Manager of the external/internal audit process
    • Support the offshore finance team to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate fashion
    • Assess and work closely with key stakeholders in relation to the adoption of new accounting standards including the documentation of accounting changes, process and/or system impacts and change implementations.
    • Provide information as requested to the Group Tax and Treasury Manager on tax


    Your background:
    • CA / CPA qualified- Preferred
    • Post qualification experience practical Financial Accounting experience
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
    • Advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills
    • Working understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, financial and corporate reporting requirements.
    • Ability to work through legislation and regulatory guidance documents and apply the requirements in practice.
    • Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well thought out conclusions
    • The ability to review group income tax returns, FBT, payroll tax and withholding tax
    • Attention to detail and accuracy

    The role:
    This is a new role in our team due to large wins and continued growth. The role is to generate revenue from software solutions and professional services from existing and new Enterprise customers. The team would also support the sales team and clients in pre-sales and technical consultancy capacity.

    You will be someone who has come from a similar role and or has relevant industry experience. Your confidence in presenting and as well as influencing is paramount. You will be someone who can work cross functionally and build and create solid relationships with the customer top of mind.     Key Responsibilities
    • Actively building and executing sales plans;
    • Achieve territory revenue targets;
    • Assist Account Managers & Business Development Managers throughout the sales cycle with technical pre-sales support;
    • Sell new and further expand existing business solutions to existing clients;
    • Drive new business by selling solutions to nominated new clients;
    • Provide pre-sales support and coaching to State Direct Sales Team;
    • Contribute to territory management planning;
    • Consult and analyse clients’ business requirements;
    • Translate client requirements and scope solutions that meets client’s needs;
    • Co-ordinate with Professional Services to ensure successful customer implementations;
    • Assist in designing processes to interact between customer and Canon technical infrastructure;
    • Support indirect sales team to propose the solution to the Customer, together with all benefits for the customer;
    • Contribute best practices and capabilities to the Canon Group community;
    • Keep up to date on design methods and techniques;
    • Attend and present at relevant seminars and other customer focused events.
