    The role:
    The purpose of the Canon Partner Channel team is to facilitate sales through indirect sales channels to extend the market reach of Canon. This will be achieved by working with partners in a collaborative manner to drive additional and incremental business to Canon. An example of responsibilities is outlined below:

     
    • Act as Indirect Account Manager for Canon VAR channel partners and be responsible for achieving revenue objectives
    • Develop targeted marketing and sales plans with partners and ensure that stated objectives are met.
    • Identify & onboard new VAR partners with a focus to deliver Canon story & product training
    • Accurate business forecasting of VAR partner to maximise full sales growth expectations with an efficient and effective supply chain.
    • Formulates “Win-Win” go to market models that leverages expertise of Canon and VAR partner
    • Launches new solutions through channel and play active role in training VAR partner on Canon solutions.

    About You:
    You will be a self-starter with an engaging and approachable persona and if you consider yourself to be an outgoing account manager who can create concise business plans, then we would like to hear from you.  Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of Channel Partners and VARS (Value Added Resellers) and thrive in an environment where you can train and develop your key clients.  This role will include travel, mostly between QLD and NSW and can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.

    We are looking to engage a Digital Transformation Consultant who can help convert potential interest into secure deals and help customers move through the digital transformation process as they look to outsource Processes to us.

    The Lead Consultant will perform a pivotal role in solution design and sales. Engaging with potential new clients in a pre-sale’s capacity, responding to Tenders/RFIs, requirement gathering and documentation, training, and product development, all with a seamless client experience.

    The Lead Consultant should be organised, process driven and results oriented and always act with the customer front of mind.

    Responsibilities will include

    • Work with the client and sales to understand business requirements and current legacy operating methods
    • Align requirements with our capabilities and solutions that can deliver meaningful transformation
    • Identify where we can add value to processes, or redesign the way that the customer operates
    • Perform consultancy and requirements gathering to document business requirements
    • Be able to articulate the value of transformation, both in how it will improve, how the customer does business and to control costs
    • Document the proposed solution architecture and prepare presentations that clearly describe the solution, benefits and value in a pre-sales/SME capacity
    • Cost the solution obtaining input from development, operations and third parties.
    • Input pricing data in conjunction with the Product/Solutions manager and Sales
    • Be able to build financial models that show basic financial metrics such as return on investment and payback periods
    • Actively participate in post implementation reviews and promote the ‘lessons learned’ to achieve improved systems, processes, procedures and best practices.
    • Write clearly articulated solution related document such as Business Requirement Documents and Proposals.


     About You

     we are looking for someone that has sold outsourced Business Solutions in pre-sales or Consulting capacity, for a minimum of 5 years, ideally with 2 years or more in Digital transformation

     Strong knowledge and experience in Content Management, workflow and ERP systems as well as experience in Robotics, AI and /or Cognitive learning solutions is a must.

    with the need for this role to be Consultative we want to see evidence of research processes with the ability to assess options and solutions in a fresh and creative way. This will include gathering customer requirements and translating these into the robust solutions

    You must have sound knowledge and experience in design, agile management and innovation methodologies, including the scoping of work, design research, ideation and prototyping, user testing, and evaluation

    Practical experience with the sales bid process and responding to RFI’s & RFP’s and ability to build commercial models for large and complex deals will be required

    Highly regarded would be knowledge of specific client processes in our target markets of Banking, Insurance, Government and Finance

    About the Role
    Off the back of a highly successful 2019, for our sales team, Harbour IT has now sold significant Infrastructure solutions to several new and engaged customers. As we work with these customers in 2020 we need to invest in a dedicated Account Manager who can provide ongoing guidance and support on existing and future services.

    You will work closely with these existing clients to determine their present and future needs and identify suitable services within Networking, Cloud, Security, Software and Hardware in order to maintain and grow revenue for Harbour IT.

    You will ensure revenue, gross margin, client and employee satisfaction targets are achieved through tactical and day-to-day financial, operational, contractual and relationship management.


    Responsibilities will include
    • Identify, establish and manage relationships within client, partner, and HIT to ensure a long-term business partnership
    • Act as customer advocate to enable clients to achieve corporate objectives and gain competitive advantage.
    • Support Service Delivery Managers to ensure optimal level of service is provided and continually seeking process improvement and cost reduction opportunities
    • Proactive input into the development and implementation of project delivery (including handover to business as usual)
    • Present quarterly to the Head of Account Management and General Manager of Sales on quarterly performance and future actions.
    • Timely and accurate submission of pipeline and client performance reports including variance reporting as and when required
    • Ensure Steering Committee, and all other contractual reporting obligations are met and exceeded.
    • Conduct presentations and coordinate the preparation of reports, proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and account management plans;
    • Proactive input into contract negotiations and bids.
    • Ensure revenue, expense and gross margin targets are met and exceeded;
    • Responsible for pricing of contracts, contract variations and additional work requests
    • Undertake forecasting and budgeting within the defined number of accounts.

    About You
    Previous experience within an Account Manager / Business Development capacity within IT Managed services. The ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies.

    You will have exceptional experience in identifying new business opportunities presenting to clients to identify their needs resulting in the delivery of exceptional service solution's. Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers and stakeholders.

    You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport and a tenacious attitude toward towards progressing business.

    A passion for technology is a must

    About the Role

    This has resulted in the business looking to engage a Governance and Compliance Officer to join our Governance team and primarily support the head of the department with the build, implementation and maintenance of an appropriate Governance and Compliance framework for Canon Business Services’ lines of business.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Assist delivery on the Governance and Compliance frameworks

    • Assist with the development of relevant risk management plans
    • Continuous improvement ensuring the development, documentation and maintenance of Governance and Compliance plans and procedures allowing the organisation to respond to industry standards, relevant legislation and current best practice.
    • Document all potential hazards to CBS environment
    • Contribute to monthly Executive Level reporting and updates on all compliance and governance issues as relating to the Canon Business Services environment
    • Collaborate on defining and improving appropriate KPI metrics for measuring the success of Governance, Quality and Risk Management activities

    About You:
    We are looking for someone with strong skills in process, policy and governance formulation, documentation and implementation and show evidence of a strong understanding of Australian and International standards

    You must have the ability to consult and collaborate at all levels to drive common goals and be effective with Governance, Compliance and Risk Management frameworks.

    Foundation ITIL certificate or similar accreditations would be highly desirable as well as previous experience with a Managed Services Provider or Business Process Outsourcer. 

    This would be a fantastic role for someone who is currently performing incident management or quality assurance or in a Governance role but looking for a change and a new challenge.

    This role will provide 2nd level support to resolve customer problems and queries in an effective and timely manner, and deal with escalated tickets that come through from our service desk team.

    Responsibilities will include
    • Provide level 2 remote access support to end users and hardware.
    • Investigating, Troubleshooting and resolving most ticketed issues that come through to the team
    • Escalating problems to field engineers where remote access support cannot resolve the issue
    • Logging all work via an ITSM ticketing system.
    • Providing a high level of Customer Service and communication, meeting and exceeding client expectations
    • Provide recommendations for improvements and changes
    • Create, populate and maintain a knowledge base with known resolutions and FAQ’s.
    • To evaluate current work processes and develop /implement change where necessary.
    • Identify development and training deficiencies and recommend appropriate action

    About you
    You will have experience in the IT Customer support industry and a passion for customer service. You will know your way around printer environments and have talent for troubleshooting and end user support. You will have a solid background in Level 1 troubleshooting with a strong focus around networking issues. Any level 2 support experience highly regarded.

    Preferably a Degree in IT or Computer Science with a strong practical element any certifications an advantage

    Your strong communication and interpersonal skills along with commitment to deliver on targets will be key in your success.

    With continued growth across Harbour IT in 2019 and both our Projects and Managed Services teams gaining more and more momentum in 2020, we are looking to invest in a dedicated Transition Manager to develop processes, procedures and governance associated with the seamless on boarding of customers into Harbour IT Managed Services.

    This role will be the gatekeeper to allowing new services to cutover into business as usual operations and work intimately with both customers and Internal stakeholders

    You will run the Transition Program on a day to day basis on behalf of the General Manager, Managed Services to ensure the overall program produces the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified financial and resource constraints

    Responsibilities include
    • Establishment and ongoing management of the Transition function at Harbour IT.
    • Maintaining a transition pipeline, which will form the single source of truth
    • Monitoring and controlling transition execution to ensure delivery is managed within agreed cost, time and quality constraints.
    • Supporting operational managers with project management methodology and delivery support
    • Managing transition resources and resource allocation to program tasks.
    • Managing transition project level planning, scheduling and interdependencies.
    • Monitoring and controlling risks, issues and change control, escalating issues where necessary
    • Working with operational managers and team leaders to identify, develop and deliver on specific communications requirements.
    • Ensuring transition documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

    About You
    We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years in Project Management with specific experience in Transition programs. We are looking for someone that is comfortable establishing an IT transition / on boarding program and highly capable of implementing both process and governance to this function.

    Professional qualifications in Project management (PMP, PMBOK, PRINCEII) are highly regarded as well as previous roles across IT managed services or the delivery of internal support services.

    We expect that you are comfortable in working to tight deadlines and managing various customer requirements and deliverables. You will need to be autonomous, results driven and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management.

The SME will also be a consultant to the technical sales team in designing and delivering customer service solution across the wider infrastructure practise to provide IAAS.


    The SME will have hands on experience in managing enterprise level infrastructure as they will also be a Tier 3 escalation for the support teams. The ideal candidate will have solid understand of security and governance requirements around running infrastructure in the Cloud, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.


    About the role:
    • Contribute to the Cloud & Digital strategy in its architecture and design to support the future business direction, capability and adaptation of the cloud throughout the organisation.
    • Provide expertise regarding Cloud Implementation for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure services.

    About the Role
    With continued growth across Harbour Its and further demand for Microsoft SQL Infrastructure support services we have a great opportunity for a DBA / Infrastructure Support Specialist to provide focused BAU support to a number of clients in Australia

    You will be an SQL Database Administrator (DBA) subject matter expert to this dedicated customer, managing their environment and making sure we are in line with contractual commitments.

    You will ensure best practice design, implementation, and management of managed infrastructure solutions are met, provide oversight and recommendations for SQL infrastructure operations and technologies as well as ensuring Harbour IT are meeting its obligations in regard to Service Levels, performance and configurations


    Responsibilities include:
    • Provide SQL Database Administration support to our managed customers.
    • Ensure optimum database availability, performance and security via industry best practices.
    • Ensure appropriate user access, data integrity, application security and system recoverability of SQL environment is embedded in the SQL customer environments.
    • Provide support on Database backup, restorations, verification, including SQL backup tuning, maintenance plans and disaster recovery.
    • Design, deploy and support redundancy and reliability plans
    • Manage SQL Server Always on Availability Clusters on critical production systems.
    • Complete health checks on SQL environments when transitioning new customers under Harbour IT
    • Install and configure SQL server as required.
    • Being available to take phone calls for escalated enquiries or tickets.
    • Mentor and coach other Level 3 and IT Operations Team members in developing appropriate Microsoft SQL specific skills.
    • Be an escalation point for Projects and other Harbour IT teams in relation to SQL specific matters.

    About You:
    We are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience as an SQL DBA with current MCSA: SQL Server 2012 certification or above. We are looking for appropriate Tertiary qualifications as well as formal training in database technologies.

    We want to see demonstrated experience in designing, deploying and supporting redundancy and reliability plans as well as skills in installation, performance, optimization and support of SQL Databases

    ITIL v3 Foundation certificate is required, if this is something you do not currently hold you will be required to obtained before the end of probationary period

    MCSE and /or experience in a managed services environment would be highly desirable. As well as some exposure to Azure SQL.

    You will also have strong customer service skills, high level of analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability and experience to prioritise tasks and workload.  Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment with a shared workload.

    Due to exciting projects within Canon we now have an opportunity for an experience Change Manager to join the team. The role is a 9-month fixed term contract and will be instrumental in the supporting the business with system implementations. As the Change Manager you will have experience in managing end to end system and people change management including stakeholder identification, engagement, coaching and communications.

    About you:

    • Work with key business stakeholders to identify impacts to Canon’s customers (consumers, resellers, dealers, business partners etc.)
    • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success

    Your background:
