About the event:

Would you like to master your camera and sharpen those Macro photography skills? Join the Canon Collective as we take you on a guided photowalk through Lawson Park while practicing our focusing techniques and exploring Canon’s macro lenses.

This class is perfect for those new to photography or for any passionate photographer who would like to challenge their photography and capture a unique view of nature. On completion of this course you will understand:

• How your camera works
• How to use the aperture priority setting
• How to use the shutter priority setting
• Understanding Macro Photography
• Composing Macro images
• Do’s and Don’ts of Macro photography
• Focusing techniques
• Mastering Canon’s Macro Lenses
• Tips and tricks for Landscape Photography

Recommended equipment:

Please bring your Canon DSLR Camera, lenses and memory cards. A tripod is also recommended. A range of Canon DSLR cameras and Canon Lenses will be available to loan on the day.

Event location:

Meeting under the archway to the park. Parking is available on site.

Important Information

General fitness required, grip sole with closed toe shoe recommended. Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
