About the event:

Ever wondered how photographers capture those amazing photos of locations, its all about timing!

Join the Canon Collective for an early morning workshop of long exposure photography. Get hands on with the Haida filter kits and start creating unique photos.

This class is perfect for those who are interested in landscape photography but want to be able to take it to the next level by using these filters to enhance their photos. Your ambassadors will take you through the process of setting up the filter kit, and the do’s and don’ts of long exposure photography. On completion of this course you will understand:

• How to use manual setting
• How to attach the Haida filters
• Which filters to use and when
• Understanding filter and tripod etiquette
• Composition

Techniques covered:

Composition, manual exposure control, long exposure techniques, and tripod etiquette.

Recommended equipment:

Camera, lens, long exposure filtres, empty memory card, fully charged batteries, and tripod. Selected products and haida filters will be available for you to get hands on and use during the workshop.

Event location:

Meeting at Bloomfield Road Carpark. Parking spaces available.

Important Information

General fitness required, grip sole with closed toe shoe recommended. Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
