About the event:

Join Jenn Cooper from the Canon Collective for a morning of wildlife photography with Feathered Friends Western Sydney. Ravi the director & owner of Feathered Friends has created these encounters for you to enjoy an intimate experience while photographing a variety of birds from exotic internationals, hawks, owls and the threatened Red-tailed Black Cockatoo all from an open field for your photography pleasure.

Feathered Friends is an amazing organisation that all started with the desire to improve the care of birds in captivity. It is now one of Australias largest and most empowering avian facilities; providing captive and wild birds with hope and the chance to experience wild flight again. The facility, known as the Sanctuary, is designed especially for their birds as a place for them to call home. For the bird’s well-being and privacy, the sanctuary remains closed to the public.

Tap into Jenn’s wildlife photography experience and learn the inside skills to better your birding photography as we concentrate most of our time photographing these protected species in their natural environment under the instruction of Ravi who will bring a variety of feathered friends for us to photograph on the day.

Limited guests per session, each guest will have shared access to a range of Canon telephoto lenses and EOS cameras on the day including EF 200-400mm, 400mm f4 DO II, 300mm f2.8L IS USM II and EF 100-400mm series II and more.
