- Family Portraits Workshop at Sydney Park
Join Canon Collective Ambassador, Scott Stramyk, for an fun and informative workshop at the park to assist you in capturing fun and candid portraits of the family and your kids playing at the park.
This is an introductory workshop to provide you with the foundations to go away and shoot some candid portraits in daylight of you and your family in a fun and natural environment. During this session we will cover lens selection and semi automatic exposure modes, so you can focus on capturing the moment rather than getting too caught up in camera jargon. We will also discuss using natural light, nailing your focus even when there’s lots of movement and practice some introductory composition techniques.
With 3 simple steps you can take photos with a professional touch, say goodbye to blurry dark photos and say hello to amazing family portraits!
All you need to do is bring the family along dressed and ready for your own personal photography shoot. Consider complementing colours and simple clothes without patterns or logos.
Don't have a Canon camera? That's not a problem we can supply one for you!
How to position the family so everyone looks great, learn the best camera settings to ensure everyone is clear and sharp and simple photography techniques to capture professional looking images in the best light.
Please bring your Canon Camera, lenses, tripod, memory card, charged batteries and your family!
Meeting at the Brick Stacks under the big tree, next to the carpark. Limited parking available, St. Peters Train Station across the road.
Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
