About the event:

Experiment with colour, light and motion as we create stunning outdoor colourful portraits with smoke. Join the Canon Collective team as we take you through the best tips and tricks to master this creative technique. It’s fun, it’s messy and you’ll walk away with some incredible images.

This class is perfect for those experienced in photography or for any creative photographer who would like to challenge their portrait photography skills. On completion of this course you will understand:

• How to capture smoke portraits
• Balancing back lit subjects
• How to use the shutter priority setting
• Understanding portrait photography
• Composing a model
• Do’s and don’ts of smoke photography
• Focusing techniques

Please note that this workshop is not suitable for children.

Recommended equipment:

Please bring your Canon DSLR Camera, lenses and memory cards. A tripod is also recommended. A range of Canon DSLR cameras and Canon Lenses will be available to loan on the day.

Event location:

Meeting at Duntryleague. Parking is available onsite.

Important Information

General fitness required, grip sole with closed toe shoe recommended. Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
