- Intermediate Food Photography Workshop – Sydney
Join Canon Collective ambassador, Jenn Cooper, for an afternoon delight of food photography at Jack & Knife Restaurant in Sydney. The workshop will begin by photographing the ambience of the restaurant & bar while the Chef prepares his most sought-after dishes for the Collective to photograph.
Each participant will have the opportunity to shoot a variety of dishes from the menu under both natural light and flash under the guidance of your Collective ambassador who will offer tips and tricks to capture the perfect plate.
Following the food photography workshop, everyone is invited to enjoy a tasting platter at the Chefs table where your meal and drink will be compliments of the Chef.
About Jack & Knife: “Think slow-cooked meats, wood-fired smokey flavours and cured seafood. We draw our inspiration from local Australian ingredients to create a dynamic and seasonally driven menu. We don’t have appetizers, entrees and mains. Instead we have small, medium and large plates—all designed to share so you can try as much as you like.
Cue in smooth, unique wines, the well-known and many not publicly available, our favourite international beers, as well as local craft beers, and maybe a sneaky Mexican mule here or there.
Our venue is designed for sharing—plates, bottles, stories.”
On completion of this course you will understand:
• Understanding Ambient lighting
• Understanding Flash lighting
• Creative DIY tips
