This is an opportunity to get more familiar with your Canon camera, learning macro techniques, depth of field techniques and understanding your metering modes.
The day is aimed at an entry-level experience and will prepare you to capture interesting macro photos.

Camera settings, Composition, Lighting and Basic photographic skills.
Please bring your Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera (or borrow one of ours), memory cards, etc. This event would be ideal with macro lenses. Canon EOS R & EF100mm macro lenses will be provided.
Meeting at the Man O'War steps next to the Opera House.
A general fitness level is required. We recommend closed toe shoes for walking. As this event takes place outdoors, please be mindful of your surroundings.
