Have you ever wonder what its like to have a whole zoo all to yourself? Join Kass Brumley from Canon Collective for an exclusive before hours wildlife photography workshop at the brand new Sydney Zoo. To ensure you get the best head start, the session will start with a theory session learning the tips and tricks for capturing wildlife with Kass before heading into the zoo at 8am. Once inside the zoo our first stop will be the Australia precinct where we will put theory to practice then from there we will work closely with keepers to capture animals as they wake and emerge from their night dens. You will have a full hour inside the zoo before gates open to the public and then a further hour to explore at your own leisure using any camera equipment you have borrowed, Kass will be on hand to help with any questions, tips or tricks. At the end of the session we will meet back up again to return gear and debrief, after that you are free to enjoy the zoo for the rest of the day as you wish.
During the workshop we will help you better understand the critical settings and techniques to master wildlife photography such as:
• Camera settings and set up
• Focus modes and technique
• Exposure and metering
• Aperture and depth of field
• Shutter speed
• Tips and tricks for Sydney Zoo Enclosures
