About the event:

Join Scott Stramyk from the Canon Collective and step into the streets to uncover the hidden gems of Newtown as you see the world through the lens. With new techniques you will rediscover a new love for the city around you as we make our way down King Street and the surrounding alleyways. This workshop will be focused on street photography, environmental portraits, architecture and creative abstract imagery. 

Don't have a camera? No dramas! We'll have cameras available for you to use, just supply your own SD card and bring your curiosity.

Please note: This is a beginners workshop and is suitable for those just discovering their love of photography

Recommended equipment:

Camera, lens, memory card and fully charged batteries. Mirrorless cameras on request.

Event location:

Meeting at Newtown Neighbour Hood Centre, Crn Bedford Street + Kings Street. Parking at Newtown Station, limited paid parking available on streets.

Important Information

General Fitness required, grip sole with closed toe shoe recommended. Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
