Join Canon Collective Ambassador, Emma Desira, for a unique shoot incorporating long exposures to add another element of creativity to your images, captured in an around urban environments. Typically long exposures can only be achieved in low light, however with the help of an ND filter we can transform the scene in-front of us and achieve a fantastic long exposure even when shooting in the middle of the day.

Our subjects for the day will be an assortment of transport, people and architecture (clouds permitting).

Long Exposures, Focus and the Haida Filter System.

Recommended equipment:

Your Canon DSLR Wide angle lens. Neutral Density filter (ND) - A limited number of ND filters will be available for loan throughout the session. A Tripod (essential) A cable release (desirable but not essential).

Event location:

Meet out the front of the MCA building on the grass opposite the harbour.

Important Information

Tripod is essential for this workshop. A general fitness level is required. We recommend closed toe shoes for walking. As this event takes place outdoors, please be mindful of your surroundings.
