Experience the thrill of photographing Australian birds of prey as they fly repeatedly past your lens as well as perched.
With Jay’s extensive knowledge of wildlife photography, you will be taken through the many ways of mastering the art of birds in flight photography and learn:
• Camera settings and set up for birds in flight
• AF setting and set up
• Using back button focus
• Panning and tracking technique
• Exposure modes and overcoming difficult lighting
• Exposure compensation

Camera, long and wide lenses, empty memory card (bring spares as you will fill them), fully charged batteries. A range of Canon EOS cameras and lenses will be available to get hands on and use during the workshop. Each guest will have shared access and will have a long lens each at all times.
Meeting at Canon HQ, Alice Springs Desert Park. Parking is available.
General Fitness required, grip sole with closed toe shoe recommended. Where the event takes place outside we can’t control the environment so please take care in your surroundings.
