About the event:

Join the team from NT Bird Specialists and Canon Collective Ambassador, Jay Collier, on an exclusive photographic expedition through the heart of Crocodile Dundee country.

Explore ancient cultural landscapes whilst using the latest Canon equipment to capture epic wildlife moments. Snap up irresistible subjects under the personalised guidance from your professional Canon Collective photography tour leaders and expert local wildlife guides at NT Bird Specialists.

In this experience, you’ll be immersed in endless photography opportunities, aboard 2 private cruises on the famous Yellow Water Billabong and visit two ancient Aboriginal cultural sites adorned with rock art, occupation sites and living cultural histories, dating back 65,000 years in the region. Dramatic and iconic sandstone outcrops make for unforgettable landscape shots, especially accompanied with a low-setting sun glowing on the rock and vast floodplains down below.

During five full days of field workshops and tutorials, you can learn and trial creative photographic techniques in diverse and remote world heritage landscapes. Your knowledgeable and super-sharp eyed local guide, Luke Paterson, will ensure you’re positioned well to make the most of your time with the Canon Collective Ambassadors. Sunrise, sunset, landscape, wildlife and of course bird photography will be covered. We tailor our sessions to suit all photography experience levels from beginner to advanced.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded photographers and ask those tricky questions that can save you hours of research and trial and error. Best of all, you'll get to take some incredible photos with a wide range of Canon set ups.

Book today and join the Canon Collective Ambassadors and NT Bird Specialists, the Top End’s best birding and wildlife team, for an annual Top End Nature & Wildlife Photography Expedition you’ll never forget.
