About the event:

It's time to show us your creative spark with this one camera challenge. Come with nothing more than a empty SD card and be prepared to shoot an entire brief with a Canon G series compact camera and rejoice in creative aspects of photography where we'll level the playing field by shooting the afternoon in JPG.

After a 30 minute workshop and brief, you will be given a challenge to go and shoot for 60 minutes and apply what you've learned. There will be a 30 minute image review where the Canon Collective ambassador will give you feedback on your favourite photograph.

In this workshop, we will cover the following concepts

• Zoom Lens
• Focus Technique
• Metering & Exposure Compensation
• Fast & Slow Shutter
• Picture Styles
• Composition

This workshop is ideal for students and beginners.
