Watch the sunrise over the horizon, casting pink, orange and yellow hues over the patchwork of farms and paddocks of the Darling Downs. This is Queensland's 'Big Sky' country and we invite you to join us for a very special experience: Hot air ballooning from historic Jimbour House. Canon Collective have booked an exclusive flight with Graeme Day from Floating Images with over 27 years experience, for one trip of a lifetime!
We meet at Jimbour House at 5:00AM to help Graeme and his crew set up. There will be plenty of photographic opportunities as the flame fires up, heating the air to inflate the balloon at first light. The balloon will gently float above the farms for 1 hour and slowly come down where the field crew will assist packing up the balloon. We all help with pack-up before the crew will drive us back to Jimbour house for a breakfast on the veranda.
Note: This event is part of the 2019 Canon Collective QLD Regional Festival, to see more festival events click here.
