About the event:

Join the Canon Collective Team as they travel to Brisbane's south east corner for a festival of photography!

Staying at Tangalooma for 3 nights, from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th of October, attendees are invited to register for events such as Aerial Photography, Snorkelling the Moreton Island Wrecks, Desert Fashion Shoot and Sunset at Cape Moreton Lighthouse. The island itself is a National Park and offers some of the most diverse landscapes off the coast of Brisbane. Teaming with marine and wildlife, Moreton Island is one of the most unique photographic location in Australia!
The theme for the weekend is Capture, Edit, Print and Exhibit. Our special guests for the weekend include: Canon Ambassador Sean Scott, Canon Master Darren Jew and representatives from Goal Zero and Aquatech. There are great prizes to be won including an Underwater Dolphin Feeding experience, F-stop bags and much more.

Click here to book your room, as well as your preferred launch time, before booking the photographic events. We have only secured a limited number of rooms, so round up your friends and get in quick!

How to get there
We recommend catching the Moreton Island Catamaran, departing from the Holt Street wharf (220 Holt Street) at either 12:00pm or 5:00pm on Thursday 26th of October.
The Holt Street Wharf is a short 12 minutes drive from the Brisbane Domestic Airport – you will need to get there 1 hour before departure.

Getting back
The Photographic Festival concludes at 2:30pm on Sunday the 29th of October.
We recommend catching the 4:00pm departure catamaran, which will get back to the Holt Street Wharf by 5:15pm.
