Join Jay Collier from Canon Collective for a 4 hour wildlife photography workshop at Melbourne Zoo. Tap into Jay's 15 years of professional wildlife photography experience as he shares with you the many tips and techniques that will help improve your knowledge for wildlife photography out in the field.
During the workshop Jay will help you better understand the critical settings and techniques to master wildlife photography such as:
• Camera settings and set up
• Focus modes and technique
• Exposure and metering
• Aperture and depth of field
• Shutter speed
• Working with light and dealing with problems you might encounter in the wild

Please BYO Canon EOS camera, lenses, memory cards and spare batteries. A range of Canon EOS cameras and telephoto lenses will be available for all guests to loan for the duration of the workshop at no additional cost.
Meeting at the main front gates 10 mins before the event starts. Paid parking is available onsite.
A general fitness level is required. We recommend closed toe shoes for walking. As this event takes place outdoors, please be mindful of your surroundings.
