About the event:

Have you recently purchased a Canon speedlite or have you had one in your kit but never understood exactly how to use it? This workshop is specifically designed for beginners in flash photography to help you better understand how to use flash and balance with available light to produce professional results. Learn how to set up and control the flash, master TTL and Manual modes, standard and high speed sync as well as on camera and off camera flash techniques.

As a small class of 8 you will practice using each other as your subjects. A Canon Speedlite will be provided for all guests who wish to attend who may not already own one.

Recommended equipment:

Please BYO camera, lens and flash if you own one. Please ensure you also bring 4x new AA batteries. Speedlites will be provided to guests who wish to attend without their own flash.

Event location:

Meeting in store. Paid parking is available on the street or plenty of public transport options.

Important Information

We will take a short walk around South Melbourne so please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and be aware of your surroundings.
