About the event:


Join African wildlife photography expert and Canon Collective Ambassador, Jay Collier, and learn the  many key tips to successful wildlife photography at Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Each guest will each receive a long lens for the entire day such as the EF 200-400mm, EF 300mm f2.8L, EF 400mm f4 DO or EF 100-400mm series II, as well as shared use of a range of Canon Digital SLR (If you do wish to try a EOS 1D X series camera, you will require a CF card as the cameras do not take SD cards).

Recommended equipment:

Please bring your camera and lenses that you also wish to use on the day, memory cards and spare batteries. A range of cameras and telephoto lenses will also be provided for you to use on a shared basis.

Event location:

Free onsite parking is available. Meet at the front gates in front of the ticketing windows.

Important Information

Don't forget sturdy walking shoes and dress for being out in the sun, as the zoo has limited shelter. A general fitness level is required. As this event takes place outdoors, please be mindful of your surroundings. Ticket price doesn't include entry to the zoo.
