A Problem Has Occurred in the Network Board

Issue

A problem has occurred in the network board.

Cause and solution

The network board is not connected properly.

See "Chapter 9 Installing the Optional Accessories" in User's Guide in the CD-ROM supplied with the printer and make sure that the network board is connected to the printer properly.

Caution

If the ERR indicator on the network board is on or blinking, or if all the indicators on the network board are off, see "Chapter 4 Troubleshooting" in Network Guide in the CD-ROM supplied with the printer and solve the problem.

Cause and solution

The network board is set to the unicast communication mode.

Specify the normal mode (the broadcast communication mode). For more details, see [Using the Unicast Communication Mode] or ask your network administrator.
