Found New Hardware Wizard or Add New Hardware Wizard appears when the scanner is connected (Windows only)

Solution

Cause: Scanner connected without first installing the software from the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM.

Solution: Click the [Cancel] button in the Found New Hardware Wizard or Add New Hardware Wizard to close it. Install the software from the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM.
