Solution
1. Peel the orange tape off the scanner.2. Open the document cover and slide the lock switch toward the unlock mark to release the lock.
3. Close the document cover.
Caution
Make sure to release the lock before connecting the scanner to the computer. If you use the scanner without releasing the lock, it may cause failure or trouble.
