[Cause]

Shutdown timer is set other than [off].

After the printer goes into Sleep Mode, power will be turned off automatically when the situation that the printer is not operated continues until the time being set in advance by operation panel.

When the firmware was updated to the following versions, set value of shutdown timer will be automatically set to 8 hours.

off /5 min. /10 min. /30 min. /1 hour /4 hours /8 hours* /12 hours

* Factory default setting/Initial value after updating version of firmware

How to change the setup time (Large panel)

Please follow the procedures listed below.

1. On the Tab Selection screen of the Control Panel, press or to select the Settings/Adj. tab

2. Press or to select [System Setup], and then press the [OK] button.

3.Press or to select [Shut Down Timer] , and then press the [OK] button.

4. Press or to select [off/5 min./10 min./30 min./1 hour/4 hours/8 hours/12 hours] , and then press the [OK] button.

How to change the setup time (Small panel)

1. Press the [Menu] button and [MAIN MENU] will be displayed.

2. Press or to select [System Setup], and then press the button.

3.Press or to select [Shut Down Timer] , and then press the button.

4.Press or to select [off/5 min./10 min./30 min./1 hour/4 hours/8 hours/12 hours] , and then press the [OK] button.
