Solution

This section describes what to do when cassette tape-related error messages appear in the camcorder's LCD screen.

ProblemCause / Solution
CONDENSATION HAS BEEN DETECTEDCondensation has been detected in the camcorder.

HEADS DIRTY, USE CLEANING CASSETTEVideo heads are dirty.
< Solution >
Clean the video heads.
INPUT SIGNAL NOT SUPPORTEDYou attempted to input a video signal incompatible with the camcorder (for example 720p).
REMOVE THE CASSETTECamcorder stopped operating to protect the tape.
< Solution >
Remove the cassette and reinsert it.
TAPE ENDTape reached the end.
< Solution >
Rewind the tape or replace the cassette.
THE TAPE IS SET FOR ERASURE
PREVENTION
Cassette is protected.

Replace the cassette or change the position of the protect switch.
