Finding Images in the Camera Using Search Conditions such as 'Date', 'Photo', or 'Movie' (PowerShot SX400 IS / PowerShot SX520 HS)

Find desired images quickly on a memory card full of images by filtering image display according to your specified conditions.

The position and shape of the operation buttons, screens displayed, and setting items may differ according to the model you use.

Please follow the procedure explained below.

1. Press the camera's ⋖⋗ button to turn it on.

2. Press the ⋖⋗ button.

3. Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons to choose [ ] (Image Search) in the menu, and then press the ⋖⋗ button.

4. Press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons to choose a condition.

People	Displays images with detected faces.
Date	Displays the images shot on a specific date.
Favorites	Displays images tagged as favorites.
Still image/Movie	Displays only still images or movies.

When the camera has found no corresponding images for some conditions, those conditions will not be available.

When you have selected [ ] or [ ], choose the condition by pressing the ⋖⋗⋖⋗⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons on the screen displayed, and then press the ⋖⋗ button.

5. Images matching your conditions are displayed in yellow frames. To view only these images, press the ⋖⋗⋖⋗ buttons.

6. To cancel filtered display, choose [ ] in step 2 or 3.
