Caution

This information does not guarantee all memory card operations.
When shooting movies, use a large-capacity card with a fast writing/reading speed.

IPB: 10MB/sec. or faster

ALL-I (I-only): 30MB/sec. or faster

If you use a slow card when shooting movies, the movie might not be recorded properly. Also, if you playback movies on a card having a slow read/write speed, movie might not playback properly.
If you want to shoot still photos while shooting a movie, you will need an even faster card.
The above table lists verified CF cards by their product names in Japan.
For details about the preceding CF memory cards, or other cards, contact the card manufacturers.

Caution

Ultra DMA (UDMA) and UDMA7 CF cards can also be used with the camera.
UDMA/ UDMA7 compatible CF cards enable faster data writing.
This camera also supports Type II CF memory cards.
Hard disk-type cards cannot be used with this camera.
