Activate the power save mode to turn off the screen and reduce battery consumption. At the press of a button, the camcorder will immediately return to record pause mode.
Activating the power save mode
Hold the ⋖POWER SAVE⋗ button pressed down for at least 2 seconds.
The screen will turn off and the camcorder will switch to power save mode.
During power save mode, the tally lamps will flash twice approximately every 3 seconds. The camcorder retains previous time code and camcorder settings.
Canceling the power save mode
Press the ⋖POWER SAVE⋗ button to return the camcorder to record pause mode.
