The date is printed twice.

Content Id: 8200430900

Solution

When using the [Date Stamp], you can insert the date in your images. When printing images you have taken with this function, the date will be printed regardless of the settings of the camera and the printer. For this reason, if the camera or the printer is set to print the date, the date will be printed twice on the printed images.

You can check the setting of the [Date Stamp] on the camera's LCD monitor.

Set the camera to [Playback] () mode, and display the image to be printed on the LCD monitor.

If the image appears with the date on the LCD monitor as shown above, the [Date Stamp] function was in use when shooting the image.

When printing images that were taken with the [Date Stamp] function, be careful not to set the camera or printer to print the date.

Caution

When you print images taken with the [Date Stamp] function, please note the following.

When printing images by Direct Print, set the [Date] in the Print Settings to [off].
When printing images from a PC, use [ZoomBrowser EX] or [ImageBrowser] to set the PC to print without the date.
When printing images from a memory card inserted into the printer, set the printer to print without the date.
When printing images at a self-service printing terminal at electronics retail stores, set the terminal to print without the date.
When using a photo printing service, ask them not to print the date on the images.
When printing images with DPOF settings, set the [Date] in the [Print Settings] on the camera to [off].
