XF205 XF200 Firmware Update version 1.0.2.0

This firmware update (Version 1.0.2.0) for XF205, XF200 is for cameras with firmware Version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.1.0

Changes:

This firmware update (Version 1.0.2.0) incorporates the following improvement and correction.

1. Adds an image mode to reduce the level of noise during shooting

2. Corrects the pre-record control mechanism when recording in MP4 format

Firmware Version 1.0.2.0 is for XF205 and XF200 with Firmware Versions 1.0.0.xx to 1.0.1.xx. If your camera’s firmware is already Version 1.0.2.xx, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camera is updated to the latest firmware version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.

For further information, please refer to the latest version of the unit’s Instruction Manual that is released with the firmware update.

For Canon XF Utility, software that supports MXF clips, Ver. 1.4.1 or later supports display of the newly added Custom Picture setting item, “S/N Priority”.

Canon XF Utility Ver.1.4.1 is scheduled to be available on Canon’s Web site from late April.
