Sydney, AUSTRALIA – 23 September 2026 Canon Australia today announces the launch of five new imagePROGRAF TX Series large format printing solutions, expanding its portfolio of production-focused printers for architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), manufacturing, government and design environments.
The new line-up consists of two standalone printer models, including the 44-inch TX-4300, and three multifunction printer (MFP) models that combine Canon's large-format printing technology with an integrated large-format scanner1, including the TX-1300 for A0+ size applications.
Designed for organisations requiring high-volume technical drawing output, the new imagePROGRAF TX Series combines high-speed printing, improved drawing reproduction and enhanced workflow automation. The MFP models further support digitisation and document management requirements through advanced scanning and copying functionality. Across the entire range, Canon's newly developed matte black ink delivers deeper blacks and improved reproduction of fine lines and small text.
The TX-4300 and TX-3300 feature a newly-developed output basket that automatically stacks up to 10 A0-size drawings, face-down while maintaining print order.
In traditional large-format printing environments, users often spend a large amount of time collecting, sorting and aligning printed drawings before distribution. The new stacking basket allows completed print sets to be removed in sequence, eliminating the need for manual rearrangement and helping reduce labour associated with post-print handling.
This enhancement is particularly valuable for construction, engineering and design organisations where large volumes of drawings are printed daily, and workflow efficiency is critical.
The new TX Series delivers printing speeds of up to 3.3 A1 landscape pages per minute, helping organisations manage tight project deadlines and increasing document production capacity.
Additional workflow innovations include Canon's Smart Roll Paper Set functionality, which automatically detects paper type, estimates remaining media and simplifies roll loading by allowing operators to load paper directly into the main feed tray.
Selected models also feature a dual-roll paper feeding mechanism, enabling continuous printing using the same media type or automatic switching between different paper sizes and media types. This reduces interruptions and improves utilisation in busy production environments.
The new TX-4310 and TX-3310 multifunction devices combine large-format printing and scanning capabilities in a single productivity platform.
A large 15.6-inch touchscreen monitor provides intuitive operation and enables users to preview scanned images and make adjustments, such as skew correction, before output.
The large-format scanner operates independently of the printer, enabling simultaneous scanning and printing activities. For example, users can scan engineering drawings while printing office notices or technical plans, supporting more efficient use of equipment and reducing workflow bottlenecks.
This functionality is particularly beneficial for organisations digitising construction drawings, engineering plans, maps and design documentation as part of broader digital transformation initiatives.
Across the entire TX Series range, Canon has introduced a newly developed matte black ink designed to improve drawing quality and overall legibility.
The higher-density black ink enables fine lines, detailed annotations and small text to be reproduced with greater sharpness and contrast, helping architects, engineers and designers review technical information with confidence.
By combining enhanced productivity, simplified media handling, integrated scanning and superior drawing quality, the new TX Series helps organisations manage growing large-format print requirements more efficiently.
As part of Canon's commitment to reducing environmental impact, the new TX Series adopts more sustainable packaging materials by replacing expanded polystyrene foam with corrugated cardboard packaging. This change contributes to reducing plastic-based packaging materials while maintaining product protection throughout transport and installation.

Availability
The new imagePROGRAF TX-4310 MFP, imagePROGRAF TX-4300, imagePROGRAF TX 3310 MFP, imagePROGRAF TX-3300, and imagePROGRAF TX 1300 MFP will be available from Canon Australia and accredited Canon partners from mid-October 2026.
