Designed to provide an easy, effortless and elite x-ray experience, the CXDI-Elite series panels are the ideal DR flat panel detector for both mobile applications or any general x-ray use, thanks to its ultra-lightweight, ergonomic design and intuitive features.
The CXDI-Elite Wireless Series incorporates Canon's silicon core with high sensitivity Cesium Iodide Scintillator (CsI). This allows for sharper and cleaner images with high image resolution values (DQE and MTF), producing higher image quality at low radiation doses than ever before.
Designed to enhance both user and patient experience, the new and improved design of the CXDI-Elite Series panels are light in weight than and is equipped with ergonomic handgrips, making it easier to handle without any physical strains. The panels not only have rounded corners allowing users to safely hold, position and move the panels in any environment, but now also have smooth surfaces to make the cleaning process easier.
The Built-in AEC Assistance* enables optimisation of x-ray dose without an additional receptor or external AEC (Automatic exposure control) sensor. The flat panel detectors can detect the accumulated pixel value corresponding to received x-rays in real time at each AEC region of interest (ROI), and then notifying the x-ray generator when the pixel value reaches the preset value. Ideal for free position imaging such as bedside x-ray examinations. *Option software sold separately and Multibox (MB-02) is also required.
Canon's new AI image processing uses a pre-determined model which has been trained by deep learning on noise characteristics in X-ray images from a clinical image database. Intelligent NR is a substantial step up from conventional noise reduction and will provide radiologists with high quality diagnostic images containing significantly less grainy noise with no noticeable loss of detail.
Up to 99 images can safely be stored in built-in memory. Images do not need to be transferred immediately and can be transferred at a later time when needed.
The flat panel detectors are also IP57 rated for protection against dust and liquid intrusion. This provides peace of mind without having to worry about damaging the panel.
