The imagePROGRAF PRO series provides real impact with professional prints as wide as 60 inches. The range goes through 17”, 24”, 44” and 60” printers. All use the same ink and print head to preserve identical colour tones across devices - giving professional photographers genuine versatility.
With 11 distinct colour inks and a Chroma Optimiser, the Canon exclusive LUCIO PRO II Ink set deliver exceptional colour gamut and vibrancy, even in dark areas, ensuring true-to-life prints. Ink tanks come in 3 sizes² up to 700ml and can be changed mid-operation, allowing professional photographers to reduce cost per print and printer down time.
LUCIA PRO II inks offer superior light resistance (lightfastness), preserving print quality for up to 200 years¹. The inclusion of wax in the pigments makes prints more resistant to wear and tear. Designed to withstand scratching on both gloss and semi-gloss paper, these inks make post-processing, displaying, and packing easier for professional photographers.
The imagePROGRAF PRO Series offers two types of borderless printing. Its free-size technology detects paper edges in real time, enabling borderless prints on any width. With three-sided borderless printing, only one cut is needed - perfect for maximising large-format prints and stopping media waste.
Standalone imagePROGRAF PRO printers³ boast smart roll paper set. The printer automatically and quickly feeds paper, determines paper type, and estimates the remaining amount, saving you time and effort. The semi-transparent roll and ink tank covers, and the large colour screen enable you to easily monitor paper and ink levels during printing jobs.
Canon’s software suite streamlines your photo printing workflow with tools like Professional Print & Layout, which simplifies custom layouts, previews, and colour management. The imagePROGRAF PRO Series LFPs come with two types of borderless printing. With its free-sized borderless printing technology, the multi-sensor performs real-time detection of paper edges. This enables borderless printing on all roll paper widths regardless of paper type or dimensions. The three-sided borderless printing capability is designed to require a single cut along one edge. This is ideal for large photographic printing that maximises the complete width and length of the paper roll - essential for photographers seeking gallery-quality prints with optimal media utilisation and minimal paper waste.
Prints created with Canon pro photography printers using LUCIA PRO II ink, when stored properly, can be preserved for up to 200 years*. The advanced colour development process in LUCIA PRO II ink ensures excellent lightfastness, meaning the colours in your prints will remain vibrant for a long time. Large Format Printers of the imagePROGRAF PRO Series use the LUCIA PRO II ink set. It’s a 12-color pigment ink system which includes the following colours: Photo Black, Matte Black, Gray, Photo Gray, Red, Blue, Magenta, Photo Magenta, Cyan, Photo Cyan, Yellow, Chroma Optimiser (clear coating). The multiple ink colours allow these printers to produce an exceptionally wide colour gamut with smooth gradations and deep blacks, making them ideal for professional photographic printing.
