Canon has released Firmware Update version 1.0.2.0 for the HG21, HG20 High Definition video cameras. The new firmware adds the ability to record, playback, and copy movies in MXP and FXP modes with Class 10 SD or SDHC memory cards.

Firmware version 1.0.2.0 incorporates the following improvements:
1. Adds the ability to record, playback, and copy movies in MXP and FXP modes with Class 10 SD or SDHC memory cards.
Firmware version 1.0.2.0 is for camcorders with Firmware version 1.0.0.0 or 1.0.1.0. If the camcorder's firmware is already version 1.0.2.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
Once the camcorder is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
