With the EOS 7D digital SLR camera, there are rare cases where a phenomenon in which movie files cannot be opened occurs when shooting movies repeatedly with specific CF cards. Or when shooting still images repeatedly, there are rare cases where a phenomenon in which errors regarding communication with the CF card could be displayed.

We are releasing new firmware (Version 1.2.5) that incorporates countermeasures for this issue. Please download the new firmware from the following Web site. Please note that the firmware being released this time incorporates a few improvements and fixes in addition to the phenomena described above.
