TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Terms)
1. Participation in this Canon Advantage Chance to Win Competition 2026 (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Information and instructions on how to participate form part of these Terms.
2. By communicating this Competition to Participants (as defined in clause 5 below), photo specialty retailers in Australia and New Zealand (Retail Partners) who are registered in the Canon Advantage Training Portal (Portal) agree to be bound by these Terms, and to ensure that Participants comply with these Terms.
3. This Competition starts at 09:00am AEST on 16 July 2026 and ends at 17:00pm AEDT on 04 October 2026 (Competition Period).
4. Participants consent to receiving marketing communications and information from the Promoter regarding the latest offers and promotions for Canon products and services. Participants may opt out of communications at any time.
Eligibility
5. This Competition is only open to individual Australian and New Zealand residents who:
a. are employees or contractors engaged in a sales, customer service or retail management role with a Retail Partner;
b. have received a link from the Promoter to the Portal; and
c. have an account in the Myagi 2.0 mobile application;
d. have successfully enrolled as a Participant on the Portal.
(Participants).
6. OfficeWorks employees and contractors are not eligible to take part in this Competition.
7. Participants who are under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to participate in this Competition and to agree to these terms. Participants must provide written evidence of consent if requested by the Promoter.
How to Enter
8. On 16 July 2026, the Promoter will announce the Competition by:
a) displaying promotional materials at the Retail Partners’ in-store locations,
(referred to collectively as the Announcements).
9. For every 4 modules the Participant completes in the Canon Advantage Training Portal, either through the Mygai 2.0 mobile application or through the online platform available at: https://myagi.rallyware.com/, during the Competition Period, the Participant automatically gains 1 entry into the draw for the Prize (Entry)
10. A Participant who reaches 100% completion of the modules in the Canon Advantage Training Portal, either through the Mygai 2.0 mobile application or through the online platform available at: https://myagi.rallyware.com/ , during the Competition Period automatically gains 5 entries into the draw for the Prize (Bonus Entry).
11. All Entries must be received by the Promoter within the Competition Period.
Judging
12. This Competition is a game of chance. Each Prize will be awarded to 1 Entry selected randomly via a draw using an online generator at the head office of the Promoter at Building A The Park Estate, 5 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. (Winners). The first valid Entry for each Prize awarded will be deemed the Winner.
13. A Participant can only win 1 Prize. Once a Participant’s Entry is drawn, they forfeit all their other remaining Entries in the subsequent draws.
14. 10 draws will take place to select 10 Winners for the 10 Prizes. Each draw will take place as follows:
a. Draw 1 for Prize 1 Winner - on 09 October 2026 at 3:00pm AEDT
b. Draw 2 for Prize 2 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.01pm AEDT
c. Draw 3 for Prize 3 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.02pm AEDT
d. Draw 4 for Prize 4 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.03pm AEDT
e. Draw 5 for Prize 5 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.04pm AEDT
f. Draw 6 for Prize 6 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.05pm AEDT
g. Draw 7 for Prize 7 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.06pm AEDT
h. Draw 8 for Prize 8 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.07pm AEDT
i. Draw 9 for Prize 9 Winner – on 09 October 2026 at 3.08pm AEDT

15. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for any Entry that is late, lost or misdirected, or if a Participant does not claim their Prize in accordance with these Terms.
Prize
16. Each Winner will receive 1 Prize. The total Prize pool is $9968AUD including GST.
17. There are 10 Prizes available to be won:

(each individually known as Prize).
18. The Promoter has the right to replace any Prize listed above with another item of similar value in their absolute discretion if for any reason the Prize or any part of the Prize is not available.
19. The Winner acknowledges that due to the nature of the Prize, dates may change for reasons outside the reasonable control of the Promoter. In such case, the Winner (and their companion) must be available on any substitute dates provided by the Promoter or its contractors, or they will forfeit the Prize.
Claiming the Prize
20. Winners will be notified by email and phone call by 5:00pm AEDT on 16 October 2026 and they must follow the instructions or provide any details requested to claim their Prize.
21. The Winners must provide their correct names and email addresses to the Promoter in writing to claim their Prize.
22. Winners must provide proof of their Entry if requested in order to claim the Prize.
23. If a Winner:
a. does not claim their Prize according to the instructions specified by the Promoter;
b. does not claim their Prize within 14 business days from being notified of their win; or
c. cannot provide suitable proof as to their eligibility or compliance with these Terms,
they will forfeit the Prize in its entirety and the Promoter will choose an alternate winner by re-drawing from the rest of the Entries at their sole discretion.
24. If any prize for this Competition is forfeited by a Winner for any reason (including by not providing a correct delivery address for the Prize to be delivered to, or not providing suitable proof of their eligibility), or if a Winner does not claim their prize within 14 days in accordance with the Promoter’s instructions, the Promoter will conduct a secondary draw for an alternate winner at the head office of the Promoter at Building A, The Park Estate, 5 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, on 30 October 2026, depending on the forfeited prize, at the following times:
a. Prize 1 – at 3.00pm AEDT
b. Prize 2 – at 3.05pm AEDT
c. Prize 3 – at 3.10pm AEDT
d. Prize 4 – at 3.15pm AEDT
e. Prize 5 – at 3.20pm AEDT
f. Prize 6 – at 3.25pm AEDT
g. Prize 7 – at 3.30pm AEDT
h. Prize 8 – at 3.35pm AEDT
i. Prize 9 – at 3.40pm AEDT
j. Prize 10 – at 3.45pm AEDT
25. Winners of the secondary draw will be notified in writing and phone call within 7 days of the secondary draw taking place.
26. The Prize or any unused portion of a Prize is not exchangeable for cash, is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for another Prize. The Promoter will not compensate the Participant in any way for a Prize that has not been claimed in accordance with the instructions under this Agreement.
27. The Promoter will publish the last name, initial of the first name, and postcode of each eligible Winner and alternate winner who is a South Australian resident (except for any winner who has requested that their name and postcode not be published) within 30 days of the winners being drawn on the Portal. Winners may request that their last name, first initial and postcode are not published, and the Promoter must abide by this request.
Prize Processing
28. Where possible, the Promoter will send the prizes to the Winners by email within 3 weeks of notifying the relevant winner of their win.
29. Where any prize cannot be emailed, the Promoter will send it by registered post or by hand to the Retail Partner that the winner is registered with in the Portal within 3 weeks of notifying the relevant winner of their win.
30. The Promoter will send a tracking number to the relevant winner within 14 business days of posting the prize. The winner agrees to acknowledge delivery of the Prize by signing an acknowledgement of receipt.
31. The Promoter has no control of and is not responsible for any delays or issues arising from the use of any postal carrier.
32. The names of the winners will be given to the Retail Partner’s head office. Each winner consents to the Retail Partner and Promoter publishing their name in an announcement on the Promoter’s ‘Canon Advantage Channel’ located in the Portal within 30 days of the winners being drawn.
Participant’s Warranties and Indemnity
33. Each Participant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims in connection with a failure by them to comply with these Terms.
34. Each Participant agrees that they are fully responsible for each Entry they submit, and is fully responsible for any equipment, materials, licences, or other costs required for or associated with each such Entry. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes any liability, or any costs borne by the Participant in submitting their Entry.
35. This Competition is in no way endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with Myagi Software. The Promoter is not liable for any costs and claims arising in connection with a failure by Myagi Software service provider to comply with these Terms, or otherwise arising in connection with this Competition.
36. Participants agree the Prize may be regarded as benefits in-kind and be liable to taxes, including fringe benefits tax. Participants and their employer are liable for all such taxes. The Promoter recommends Participants and the Retail Partner obtain independent tax advice in this regard.
37. By accepting these Terms, the Participants confirm they have reviewed and accepted the policies, terms and conditions of Myagi software.
Conditions that may Invalidate Entries, Participants or the Competition
38. The Promoter reserves the right to reject, disqualify, remove, or moderate any Entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, does not fit the criteria set out in these Terms.
39. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
a. to disqualify any Participant; or
b. modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Competition as appropriate.
40. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or to be acting in violation of these Terms.
41. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion, failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Privacy
42. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct this Competition. The Promoter may, for the purpose of conducting this Competition, disclose such information to third parties, including agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers and, as required, to regulatory agencies. Participation is conditional on providing this information.
43. Information about Participants may be published as set out in these Terms. Personal information collected by the Promoter will be managed in accordance with its Privacy Policy (available at www.canon.com.au/Privacy-Policy for Australian residents and https://www.canon.co.nz/privacy-policy for New Zealand residents), which contains information about access, correction and complaint processes.
Liability
44. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude, or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) as well as any other implied warranties under similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia and New Zealand (Non-Excludable Guarantees).
45. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Competition including (but not limited to) out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these terms; (e) any tax liability incurred by a Participant; or (f) use of the Prize.
General
46. These Terms may change, and the Promoter will inform Participants of any changes as soon as reasonably possible.
47. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the timeframes specified in these Terms are met, but Participants accept that time frames may vary due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, including but not limited to postal delays or delays in bank processing.
48. All money amounts in these Terms are in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST.
49. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be severed from these Terms and the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.
50. For Participants who are Australian residents except South Australian residents, these Terms are governed by the laws in New South Wales. All Participants except South Australian Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.
51. For Participants who are South Australian residents, these Terms are protected and governed by the laws in South Australia. All South Australian Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of South Australia.
