L-R: Studio 1 in action & Business Experience Centre

Sydney, Australia – 23 October 2025 – Canon Oceania last night officially opened its new Experience Centre in Sydney’s Macquarie Park, a premier destination for businesses, professionals and creators. The dynamic, purpose-built space brings together a showcase of Canon’s imaging, printing and business solutions, designed to evolve with customers and transform the way they work.

The Canon Experience Centre features three dedicated spaces designed to inspire creativity and innovation comprising of two professional studios and a business experience centre that showcases Canon’s full ecosystem, from capture to print. Guests at the launch experienced interactive demonstrations in each area, bringing Canon’s pioneering technology and services to life.

Studio 1 is a multi-function studio ideal for portrait and fashion shoots, photography workshops and product demonstrations. The studio showcases Canon’s full consumer and professional product range, designed to empower creators and clients to collaborate and produce stunning content. In this expansive studio, guests witnessed a live dance shoot as Canon technology turned motion to masterpiece by capturing the expressive movement in real time and transforming it into stunning printed artworks. Featuring Canon’s multi-camera orchestration technology, Studio 2 is ideal for broadcast clients, offering a space for video podcasting and livestreamed content. Inside this intimate studio, a three-piece band performed an acoustic set while Canon’s PTZ and manually operated cameras worked seamlessly together to track, reframe and capture every moment. The result offered guests a real-world glimpse of how Canon’s technology empowers smaller production teams across broadcast, education, and live performance environments.

The comprehensive business experience centre highlights Canon’s market-leading capabilities spanning imaging and printing innovations through to smart, sustainable business solutions. Key displays range from small desktop printers to multifunction devices for office environments, large-format printing solutions for commercial use, and advanced cloud and digitisation services.

The new centre reflects Canon’s commitment to innovation across every aspect of imaging from broadcast and cinema lenses used in video production, and even space exploration. Highlighting Canon’s broader impact, the event also showcased Macquarie University’s Huntsman Telescope project which uses an array of Canon lenses to advance space sustainability research, and a demonstration of Canon’s cutting-edge X-Ray panel technology.

Kotaro Fukushima, Managing Director of Canon Oceania, said the new innovation hub is a testament to the company’s commitment to its partners, customers and creators.

“The new Experience Centre provides a space where creators and clients can engage with Canon’s full imaging ecosystem firsthand and explore the technologies driving the next generation,” Mr Fukushima said. “This is a destination for discovery, where we can deepen the relationships with our customers as we learn, collaborate and pioneer new opportunities together. We are immensely proud to open this facility.”
