RAC in WA Drives Sustainable Print with Canon Multifunction Devices, uniFLOW, eCopy & eMaintenance

A strong commitment to the environment drove the Royal Automotive Club in WA to upgrade to a more sustainable print solution.

“We wanted to gain efficiencies in our print environment in three key areas: cost savings, productivity gains and in reducing our environmental impact,” said John Gilmore, the organisation’s Lead Project Manager.

Canon customised a print and document management solution, consolidating the organisation’s print fleet from 90 to 40, to reduce energy consumption and overall costs.

uniFLOW print management software achieved further savings in paper, consumables and administration. It also drove positive change with 200,000 unwanted print jobs deleted from the system instead of being printed.

In just one month, 390,000 pages – equivalent to 20 trees – were saved.
