EOS RP Firmware Version 1.1.0

Firmware changes:

This firmware update (Version 1.1.0) incorporates the Camera Control API (CCAPI)* function for software developers.

*HTTP-based API for camera control

In order to use this function, activation tool, which is supplied in the other way, is required as well as the update.

The Version 1.1.0 firmware, which is released at this time, is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.1. If the camera’s firmware is already Version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware. When updating the firmware of your camera, please first go over the instructions thoroughly before you download it.

Preparations for the Firmware Update:
In the folder you downloaded are the firmware (file name: xxxxx), and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese). Before starting the firmware update operations, please be sure to understand these instructions.
